There is the downside that I have to wear dirty clothes when I pan-handle though. I prefer staying in clean ones bagging grocerys.

I pulled in $192 this week.

BTW, I actually saw a hobo today. I went out back to drop off some milk crates and what do I see but a scraggly guy with a big backpack, a bedroll, a big hat and scruffy clothes walking down the back driveway with a coffee and a dog walking with him.

I appiled at Barnes and Noble today, along with Blockbuster.

Hopefully I will hear from them soon, I think I would prefer B&N...

I have a friend who works there and he told me that most locations get there help in the spring and keep em in the summer. So applying in the summer doesn't give you a good chance of getting a job there. good luck!

With jobs, you never know when you're going to get one. If one of their summer help people quits unexpectedly, you might be in for a job.

That would be nice, blockbuster wouldn't be bad either though. A lot closer, and it would mostly consist of slacking off :D

I can't wait 'til I'm 16 and can throw off the shackles of bagging and move on to a better job.

I can't slack at work. But that's not really a problem, I don't mind it much, and I'd rather not face the evil that is the Asst. Store Manager...

Apparently the youngins at Shaws are allowed to work until nine and up to 40 hours a week in July.

I can work at whatever time of day I'm scheduled to work(though no more than 40 hours a week, and no more than 8 on Sunday, and I'm part time so it's less than 30 a week anyways).

Good luck, Roy. I'm sure you'll find work somewhere else if they lay you off.
