Heroes Season 2, Episode 1: Whoa.

 

Chuck was cool!

 

Family Guy: Blue Harvest = FUH-NEE! I'd almost say the episode is exclusive to Star Wars fans because some of the gags are that obscure.

 

Not so much of the love for Bionic Woman now.

Annoyed that they ditched the deaf sister. Grrrrrrrr. Test audiences should be take out and shot.

And it looks like it's going to be Alias with bionics. Been there, seen that.

 

yes, my interest is waning i must admit. Ill stick with it a little longer and see, mainly because i like the actress playing Jamie, and Katie sackoff is very good, but its falling off my radar.

i AM however loving the DVD set I grabbed of Jericho. Never saw the series, picked it up ona whim and now Lin and i are hooked!

 

I just grabbed a R1 copy of Undeclared! Man, why do they cancel quality shows. This show is funny, with a great cast, and just a fun look at life in college. The poor Apatow crew, two cancelled shows, but a string of hit movies. Anybody seen Undeclared? or Freaks and Geeks?

 

I'm in the same boat with Bionics.

Regarding Jericho, I've actually seen a few of those episodes - it was shown in a late night slot once way back. I found it intriguing. Have you seen much? Good or very good?

 

Very good. Id say we're at about half way, maybe just past it. Its certainly intruiging, though there are a few choices in direction of events i wouldnt have taken.

 

Dexter Series two is shaping up to be a cracker of a season. Most of the minor characters have been fleshed out and we've had a few plot twists in the last couple of episodes.

 

I'm not liking Rita so much this season.

And Deb is just there for suspense value. Will she find out ?!?!?
Hope they have something more interesting planned for her than S&M dates.

The new AA woman is annoying. Hope she's guilty of something ...

 

If by annoying you mean the sexiest woman on TV at the moment, then yes, I agree with you.

I've just seen Dexter 2.05.

And now I know why you're all hot and bothered, Shad.

 

I've not actually seen it yet. Ask me the same question in 80 minutes though.

 

...and apparently the Heroes spin off - Origins, has been canned by NBC!

they canned Origins? WHy?

 

Writers' strike + declining ratings = Heroes Origins canned (for now).

The idea behind making Origins was to give viewers something to watch between sweeps (ie the mid-season break) that was still Heroes but didn't involve the principle cast. And you can't do that without scripts and (more importantly) when the show isn't attracting enough viewers to warrant spending more money on it.

Sucks that they were able to sign up a bunch of movie directors and screenwriters who fit the bill of being Heroes geeks. I might have found Origins more intriguing than the original show!
