V.C, CA Summer's HERE!!! Break's over....

Alright, how is everyone doing?!

I've been so incredibly busy with work and playing/directing concerts it's been on the verge of ridiculous. But, it's about time we have another meeting!!! So call everyone you know and lets get a show of hands here on the boards (that means you have to log in). Let us know you're still around, what days work for you, and perhaps where you might like the meeting.

Thinking any weekend that's not the 28th (playing another concert). Maybe the 5th or the 12th?
Olive Garden is always a winner... or IHOP went pretty well.

Uh, yeah, I'm here. Still. :~D

Both of those weekends are tough for me...the weekend of the 5th we have orchestra rehearsal and performances, and the weekend of the 12th is my wedding anniversary AND my niece's 2nd bday party (in San Francisco, no less).

Oh, and I'm back to working M-F 8-5.

How about this weekend? Or am I crazy for suggesting it?

Well, YJ, do you have transportation tomorrow? Maybe we could try something a little less likely to be jam-packed...?

Ok, so let's see...somewhere not too busy, and we're having Applebee's tonight, so not there. I think brianomi is trying to come, too, so maybe somewhere on the south/east end of Ventura or in Oxnard? Or, since that's midafternoon, somewhere with good "snacks" or desserts. Let's figure this one out!

It'll be mostly uncrowded, parking is easy, and they're pretty slow with service, so we can sit and talk. :~) Whatcha' think?

We're meeting at 2:30 at Baker's Square in Oxnard, so that we can properly hijack one of our members. :~)

Yeah, I'm supposed to pick a date for a FF BBQ...my bad.

Plus, we seem to have people who read here, but do most of their communicating via cell or MySpace. I'll see what I can do to get people back into some activity here. :~) We're still meeting, just not *posting* like we ought to. Sheesh.

Anyhow, what's the deal with the BBQ? I'm pretty free schedule-wise, and if everyone wanted, you're all more than welcome to do it out at my house. We have a big back patio and yard for just such an event. Let me know!
