Sunrise vs. sunset: which do you appreciate more?

Like both...

 

Sunrise, especially now when it's winter. I'm a morning person and I hate waking up when it's dark.

 

I think sunsets are prettier, because I'm more awake and aware and seeing as I get more pensive at night, it makes sense that the sunset would appeal to me more.

I'd like sunrises more if I didn't have to wake up early 5 days a week, and just did it whenever I wanted to.

Both. The sunset is nice, but when I'm bowhunting and after sitting in the dark for an hour, the sunrise signifies the beginning of legal hunting hours.

 

I'm in no condition to appreciate much of anything at sunrise, so I voted sunset.

 

Sunset is so beautiful.

 

The sunset is a more beautiful array of colours, but the sunrise is a spectacular sight. The chirping of the birds at dawn when the darkness lightens creates such great anticipation. A new day! The wonder of time!

To be honest though, I never witness a sunrise because I get up that early ... only because I'm still awake.

Sunrise without a doubt. I hate when it gets dark, and I'm up at 6 three days of the week, so I'm well aquainted with the sunrise.

If I'm awake to see the sunrise, I've either been awake throughout the night and am too hyped up on energy drinks and Xbox 360 to care, or I was forced to wake up way too early and am too cranky to care.

 

Sunrise because they are more rare to appreciate due to being awake for almost every sunset.

 

Midnight has its charms, too.

I am a night person so I rarely get to appreciate dawn because I am usually still sleeping. I do love sunsets for the colours and because it is also a sign of a new day coming....hope for what the new day can bring. (I know a bit mushy hee hee hee)

Besides being utterly beautiful, especially here on the coast, the setting sun always comforts me. The day has passed, along with whatever bad things have happened in that day. Soon, the sun will rise and you get to start a brand new day.

 

Hm... This is a tough choice... Sunrise I have to wake up and be bothered, sunset I get to sleep and not be bothered.

Yeah, gonna go with sunset here.

Sunsets are beautiful, but I appreciate sunrises more.

I prefer Sunrise as it always brings new day with new hope.

 

Both. My old place over-looked a wheat field and had some of the most beautiful sunsets. Camp each summer brought about so many beautiful sunrises over the lake. Love them both!

 

I think both are just as beautiful as each other.

Sunrise over the ocean is a stunning sight thought it gets blinding when the sun is at a higher arc.

 

This is a tough, choice....
