FF:NSW Supanova 2006

Transport wasnt to bad tonight. I got there around 6 and saw Summer Glau....and then pretty much bailed. I met someone i knew dimly from artistrs ally last year, and we met another artist and had dinner. good night.

What a day! Definetly a busy one! I was absolutly knackered when I got home!

3 Simple Words. McDonalds Bag Ewoks. We rocked!

Long story short, we were eating breakfast at Maccas and felt just mucking round, I put a Maccas bag on my head, ripped out eye-holes and joking around, said I was going to enter the Cosplay Competition. By lunch time, we had enought Maccas bags for all 5 of us to wear them round and say we were Ewoks. We got a few photos and looks! Funny stuff! Im hoping to get some photos online soon!

Saw Craig and met Holly! Good to see some familiar faces! Didn't end up spending as much as I thought, just picked up 3 Sin City books from Borders, who were having a 3 for 2 Graphic Novel sale! Awesome stuff!

 

Day one was cool. Saw Slavey, Scoot, Holly, Drew and Clare and D. Think that was it from NSW.

Briefly met the SAffers.

Was wicked meeting Scoot and Craig! I also met Yadorific, and maybe some others, I'm sorry!
Am sorry to Craig that I didn't see him before I left, but Scoot and Friends offered me a lift home! How could I resist!!!

Well day 2 was pretty good too. I sadly got up to late to see Marcos talk, which kinda bothered me. ruddy daylight savings....

Otherwise a good day. bought the last trade for a comic called The Red Star, which is an amazing read. Went and sat ina seminar for its creator christian Gosset. I caught up with old friends and convention budies. And i spent about a quater of what I spent last year! So all in all, a good time!
