He he I could not resist 2nd day's attendance at Supernova[face_blush], once again an excellent day (it was quieter this time around!)

I listened to Lando speak again....this time he has sunnies on (he stated his eyes were hurting!)....once again was surprised at depth of his personality...... and was surprised to hear he's quite a talented artist!

Also saw Ron Glass speak again....he appears not to like our bacon.....

SupaNova was great for a first timer. Billy Dee Williams needing a translator was pretty funny

    Really enjoyed meeting y'all!

Movieworld was great but I keep finding myself humming the Indianna Jones Theme.

How do you stop that? Are there cures like with the hiccups?

Try Yellow Submarine. That'll get most things out of your head.

    Welcome to the madhouse :p

    Be seeing you,

The weekend was a lot of fun. Surrounded by a thousand people much like yourself or weirder is always interesting. Movieworld was definitely the highlight for me, closely followed by hearing Aaron Douglass talk. And I even enjoyed the cosplay yesterday.

Great few days, with people I love, doing geeky stuff. YEY

    Curtis' Eurovision costume was fantastic.

    As were yours, Zerebin.

    L_C, great Caly costume!

IC, Heroes for the win! Only saw 2 Heroes costumes all weekend, there will be many more in SydNova and BrisNova 08. *GRUMBLE* at the hug. Why didn't I think of that last year?

Starfire Phoenix, congrats on doing so many good costumes over the weekend (you too L_C).

    BBN, love that t-shirt.

Magnus - Big effort, Trooper. :)

MS, we needs the prrrrecious vids!

Morgan - that Susan was good, kinda makes me want to start on Discworld...

Welcome, Ringmaster. You did seem to have fun. Did someone say Bar Wars?

    and,
    Kahlan. [face_love]

I have about 150 of 200 still to edit - granted, a 1/4 of those are of Ron Glass and Aaron Douglas. Will throw them into an album on my Image Event site during the week, but here's a taste ...

    Woot, more photos.

I shall upload mine soon. When I get home I may see if the program that my dad's camera uses is compatible with my little camera... I think I only took about 50ish photos, but I consider that a pretty good effort, as I'm generally shy of taking photos of people.

At last I met more of you! Which was a total pleasure! Sorry I didn't get to spend much more time with some of you, but it was a full on weekend, and I still didn't get everything I wanted to do done :(

If you are ever in SA, let us know. The SAFF will take good care of you. lol

Magnus, thanks so much again for letting me borrow your lightsaber for Saturday night! It's a very nice saber ;)

I loved everybody's costumes, but I am notoriously bad for not taking enough pics :( I have to keep reminding myself that I have my camera on me. lol

Be sure to let me know if any of you are going to be in Sydney in October ;) SAFF's MS (Master Skywalker) and I will be heading up for that one ;)

How Did I forget to see Wild West Falls by night!!??!?!?

Ian from OzCoaster.net (funny how your internet meanderings have a rare crossover) has a gallery of awesome photography - dialupppers go make a cuppa while this baby loads!

(Kahlan: The Alien victim was 'Jamie', the Police Academy Stunt Show's pre-show act.)
