    Hey everybody...

Something I just noticed today, and wondered if anyone could help.

I was animating the Super Battle Droid and I wanted to pose his right arm in the "stance" they do when the stop firing. When I tried, I noticed the forearm doesn't twist. I'm trying to figure out how to add a forearm twist to a pre-existing biped...Can anyone shed some light?
I would think MAX would be able to do this!

I know the biped forearm can only rotate on one axis. I don't know if it is possile to modifiy the IK properties of a biped, but if it is, you have to go to the link tab (between modifiers and animation), and uncheck the corresponding lock boxes. I've never tried to modify a biped properties, so I'm not sure it's possible, but with regular bones and object, that's how it would be done

I suppose you could disconnect the one arms bipeds from the model and build from the bone system, which you can do that with it.

Are you sure? Because the feature "forearm twist" DOES allow twisting I just don't know how to add the effect to an "all ready existing" model

Are you doing it to the Super Battle droid model?

Because I know it works, it's just that the SBD didnt have that feature added to it when it was created and it won't let ME do it.

there was a modify tool, I was able to add more fingers to a biped even after it was made,

OK, just checked--In figure mode, go down to the Structure tab thing, there you can change stuff on the model, add fingers, and check the forearm twist box. Here's a pic:
