JCC Super Bowl Entertainment, Commercials and everything else but the game AKA the JM22 thread.

    Beyonce halftime show.

    Alicia Keys national anthem.

    Movie trailers during game:
    Paramount Pictures is preparing to show a new 30-second spot for World War Z (June 21 release), starring Brad Pitt, during the pre-game and a 30-second spot for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness (May 17) during the second quarter of the game (that spot will also be used to launch a new app, see details here).

    Universal Pictures will release the first footage from Fast & Furious 6 (May 24) in a 30-second spot during the game.

    Disney, meanwhile, is planning a new ad for Sam Raimi's Oz The Great and Powerful (March 8), a 90-second spot for The Lone Ranger (July 3), and a new 60-second spot for Iron Man 3 (May 3).

    Some other commercials already out.

    It focused on a "hot" woman and "nerdy" man making out in great detail. All the slurpy noises and everything. It did that for about a full 10 seconds.

    In other news, Stevie Wonder budweiser commercial and The Rock got milk? commercial FTW.

    What did everybody think of how Alicia Keys did the Anthem? Personally I think the low - key approach was the right choice, as there was no way to successfully follow the emotional performance of the Sandyhook kids with the tradtional orchastrative flourish that most artists perform the Star Spangled Banner with.

    Okay, I don't care what comes after, I don't think anything can top that Taco Bell commercial for sheer audacity. [face_rofl]

    Yeah, I've always liked Keys. I think she did well.

    It was definitey a bit different from the how the anthem is usually done, but different was great in this case.

    Although I had to fight not to snicker when I saw the words to the anthem flashing across the crawl screens at the Superdome. Afraid of another Christina incident NFL?
