Should I have used my previous thread for this?

Am I close enough on the face? The body was a Poser model.

Looks good. I think his face is thinner, and a bit longer.

    Good job.

I apologize in advance for the true crap that this animation test was. You see, there are a bunch of parts (different morph targets, boots and such) that are either linked together or binded by Physique. I have to improve their interactions, obviously, or I won't be able to morph Superman and turn his head at the same time.

So, I know it's bad. Just thought I would show it anyway.

I tried to upload this a few weeks ago, but the website provider wouldn't let me. The model looks better now (especially the boots and cape), but here it goes anyway.

By the way, the one I apologized for was one in which his head turned as his face morphed. This isn't it.

Nice, body looks a little thin for superman but very cool. Are you going to do a test of him flying?

Sure do. And I forgot to add that he walks with CS and talks with Ventriloquist, too.

I think you got him a little skinny. At least his legs.

I tend to agree...seems it's just proportionally out a bit. Legs are too skinny, and the head seems a bit large. Hands and textures need some work as well...

Thanks, everyone. I'll see what I can do about the proportions and otherwise the size of the body.

And OC, while the body is indeed a Poser model, the boots, cape, head and hair are not. And it's been rigged for Character Studio. I'll post an animation of him speaking once I work some more on the maps and body.

Yea.. Dr.Jones has me thinking... what are you doing.. just pumping these out with Poser? That's what they look like. And if so it's not really a very interesting thing to show here. Nothing wrong with starting with a Poser figure but you need to heavily modify them afterwards. These do look like low-rez Poser figures.

Not a Poser model. As usual I did it with FaceGen. I personally think it's fairly close to Spacey's face, but if you're not interested, I'll stop posting them here.

But they're not Poser bodies? You're doing the head with FaceGen. No, I just wanted to make sure you weren't just posting Poser figures. Not exactly what I would call a wip. I didn't think so at first. Also... show us a screenshot or something of FaceGen and how you are using the software, what solutions you have found, what problems you are encountering, etc. It would be a lot more interesting than just posting renders and people say "great" or "tweak more".

It's a work in progress, because I like getting feedback and then tweak the models accordingly. But I'll send more intermediate stuff in the future. I'm still working on Superman's body, by the way. This time I'm going to try to make it more like Routh's body (which really means less definition on the body, because things like his abs don't show up through the suit).
