Meh. I'm not overly impressed but then again, I'm not too excited about this film. I realise loads of people are but I'm not too fussed.

Does anyone know who's playing Jor-El? That was Superman's dad narrating the trailer right? I don't recognise the voice.

 

That was Marlon Brando. Apparentlyu they're gonna use stuff from the original film and delted stuff and put it in.

I'm not fussed either - I just like Superman.

I hope they're gonna keep the original John Williams score for the film

 

I like it, made me shiver hearing Brando and hearing the music!

I wasn't very excited about this film, and the trailer has done nothing to change my mind.

 

IMO...that fan one that went around got me more tingly than this official one, it was crafted better in my opinion and had much better use of imagery, sound and music!

 

Ok, half the trailer is downloaded, and we're still on the logos. Not promising.

 

Are they remaking the SUperman saga? Like showing him young and all again? What Chris Reeve did. That would show utter disrespect for the big man and an icon that HE turned into one of the biggest movie superhero films.

 

Rumour has it that the teaser is in front of Harry Potter - cool for me, I'm seeing it in about 3 hours time!

 

Also remember that this is just the teaser trailer. It's not designed to give anything away at this point, just to whet your appetite so to speak, and I think it does this well.

Marlon Brando's classic Jor-El speech, the iconic Williams score, the imagery of him flying into the flaring sun, the classic cape flap as he flies. All of these tell us absolutely nothing about the film, but for me instill that moment of excitement again. Once again, I really am going to beleive a man can fly.

Does anyone know if its just the same storyline?

 

I look at this teaser and the EPIII teaser...now that WAS a teaser...this is a tease of events..but it could have used just that LITTLE bit more tease of Superman..maybe ripping his shirt open or something..still class though for the return of the Man of Steel!

 

I saw Harry Potter today, and the teaser wasn't infront of it.

 

For people not in the know Superman Returns takes place after Superman I & II but Superman III & IV have been discarded which is good.

 

i thought this teaser was stunning

Woah, I've just watched it again, volume up and lights down....WOW!!!!!

What happened since this morning when I watched it, I must have been half asleep I don't know but that really hit me, seeing the images of what becomes Superman with that excellent music, near the best theme bar the Superman Main Theme, and that final image of Supes in space, opening his eyes and then BAM...he's off!


I can't frickin' wait!!

 

What's the bets that half of those shots won't be in the film

 

So this isn't a teaser that shows the mjority of the film in quick cuts?

HUZZAH!!!!!

I might watch it then.
