San Fran, CA SUPERMAN RETURNS

Picked up my Imax ticket today. The novelization is out as well as the first 2 issues of a comic that leads into the movie. Also picked up some promo Daily Planets at Jeffrey's.

 

I also picked up "a few" of those Daily Planets, Robert. Thanks for the heads up.

 

The A&E documentary will be released on Tuesday. SRP for it is $14.99 but everybody's gonna have a special price on it I'm sure.

 

on www.ign.com look at the movies section and on the movies page there should be a SR link where you can watch 11 clips from the movie!!

 

I just got the soundtrack.Nice scoring job by John Ottman and great use of the Williams score as well.

 

the soundtrack is out already? i thought its due out next tuesday. where did u get it?

 

My title isn't just for show...

 

I've been listening to the original Williams score myself, and when you think that after that he did "Empire", then "Raiders", then "E.T.", then "Jedi". Each one spectacular in it's own way, yet uniquely different and original. The man was at the top of his game back then!

 

Anyone going to dress up for this in their best "S"?

Thanks for mentioning it, I watched them and they got even more pumped up about the movie, which is saying something.

Indeed he was, and I'd say he still ranks as the top film composer on my list though I admittedly don't know many others by name.

Does anyone want to go to that club, "METROPOLIS" after the movie? It's the place next to the Cat Club that we got in for free.

 

Oh absolutely! No cover charge and I got a mini-stage all to myself it doesn't get any better than that!

 

Any other night Club Metropolis is a thug club from what I hear. And a Friday night I don't think it will be empty.

Lou, I'm not sure what you are refering to whern you asked if they had any left. They had stacks of the Daily Planets, but the comics you can get any any comic store.

I am curious how many people are watching/reading spoilers? I am trying to stay mostly spoiler-free. I've seen the teaser. I dl'ed the 1st trailer in hi-def, but it played choppy for me, so I left it at that. All I could see and hear were a few things near the beginning of it.

Not too long now.

 

Mainly cos I was sick of the 80's stuff and I want to check out the place next that was dying for some folks. Also booze was cheaper there but the Tokyo Ice Teas at Cat Club are stacked!

However by the time we get out of the movie though it'll be past 11 something. You'd have roughly 3 hours to play with...

 

I just absolutely hate night clubs.

 

I hope they don't play any trailers before Superman Returns. It'd be cool just to go straight into the movie.

 

Tickets I must buy this friday!! PAY DAY!! but yes Josh and I should be there and will see you guys there! cant wait!
