    Speaking of merchandise, I just went to Best Buy and bought "Superfriends, Vol. 1" and "Look, Up In The Sky" (which aired on A & E) that has a sneak peek at "Superman Returns", as well as Bryan Singer's video journals.

    I also bought a commerative dog tag to help find a cure for paralysis at the Christopher Reeve Foundation:

    I really want to go to this! I'll have to buy my ticket tomorrow, if there are any left for the 9 p.m. showing, but I have to pass on the nightclub thing 'cause I have to take BART home.

    The original Superman soundtrack is so great. Like Jedhead, I've been listening to it lately. The love theme is really nice. I love The Flying Sequence the best. This movie was magic! I'll definitely be going to that John Williams concert at the 'Bowl now. He's simply got to play some of these songs.

    VERISIMILITUDE!

    Okay, I got my ticket today on fandango! I'm all set. Are we meeting early at Mel's for dinner or just at the theater?

    I can leave Concord straight from work and be in the city by 6:30 or so.

    Let me know!

    Congrats on the job Erick. And we thought you'ld just be a "SuperSlacker" once you graduated! :D=D=
    Speaking of which...here is another cool interview with Bryan, Kate, Brandon, and Kevin -

    http://www.scifi.com/sfw/interviews/sfw13084.html

    Here is a little taste:
    "Would you talk a little bit about finding the balance in a big action film between the emotional and human side with the big visual effects?

    Singer: Well, the whole thing about [an] action and adventure [movie is] it only really works if you care about the people that it's happening to, and the great thing about science fiction and fantasy is you can tell human stories from a completely unique perspective. And if you go back and watch the original ... Star Trek series, if you go back and watch Star Wars, ... it's all there. All the human myth, love, all that stuff. And yet, spaceships and Klingons and Romulans and all that. ... That's what's great, and that's what intrigues me about this. ... The idea [was] I wanted to make a love story. ... I've never made a chick flick. I wanted to make something that my mother and father will tear up watching. And yet I love science fiction and fantasy. I just love it. So how do I merge these two things so that the teenager in me will want to run out and see it, but at the same time, a grandparent can take the grandkids to see it?

    So are we going as a group to visit Erick at his new job...and not buy anything? :p

    Anyway, back to our topic, Dale and I are watching the movie on Wednesday at 10:40 pm (regular, not IMAX). Anyone else?

    And if it was misinterpreted, my bro and I are also seeing it in IMAX @ 9pm on Friday, in addition to catching it on Wednesday Night.

    See all soon!

    BTW - For all of you MySpacers, check out this link for the movie

    I'm going on Friday to see it on Imax though I'll probably see it Wednesday as well so that I'll see it as a movie first and thus be able to not judge it by the flaws that I've heard are in the 3D technology that's used (those being that it gets blurry in the faster scenes).

    Uh oh, it's in 3-D as well as on the IMAX screen! [face_sick] I'd better bring a barf bag! And maybe you guys shouldn't sit too close to me! 8-}

    Okay, are we meeting at Mel's for din-din first or just on to the show? I have a 'reception' at work at 4:30, so may be a little late getting to the city, but in plenty of time to see the movie. I may not need to eat, tho.

    let me know, okay?

    Aww, cute pic of you and Dale! How old were you guys?
