Mass Supermegafest 2009 Thread

Alright, I just left them a nice voicemail on Skype about the convention and raffle and all that.

I can't believe SMF is less than two weeks away, it's crazy!

 

If anyone has anything to donate please let me know or knows someone that does want to donate items.

We are falling very short of items this year for the baskets.

We are only ten days away.

 

I've got nothing for you guys. Everything I didn't want I donated last year. I threw out the baskets when I moved.

I have to find the passes for you and get them to you somehow.

Sorry I am not much help this year.

 

We are coming up very short on items for the raffle baskets this year.

I will donate what I can but not had any contact on items that will donated.

I did receive a Jodo Cast figure from Richie but that is all.

Also if the rep. from Autism Speaks would like ti attend and use the pass and help out we should be able to accomodate them.

Chris, I've PM'd you.

Melody, the contact at Autism Speaks is definitely coming on Saturday (said the con is right up her husbands alley) and will have a rep there on Sunday as well. Hopefully with them there, it will bump up donations.

Here's the response I sent to her:

Yes, I will give Chris (he's my co-leader so to speak) the heads up that you will definitely be there.... His cell # is .

Our table has a banner that says Massachuetts Fan Force or something like that.

Probably will be best to give Chris a call when you arrive Saturday (Amy on Sunday) so that he can give you the pass.

Sorry I won't be there in person to meet you! We are very much so looking forward to raising awareness and money for Autism this year!

The convention starts at 10:30, so I plan on getting there at 9:30, though I don't know when you guys are getting there. I'll have something for the raffle basket, too, along with my portable DVD player and speakers.

I am at ther Sheraton right now with Kevin.

Our table location is the one against the wall from a few years back.

And we are next to Ray Park!!

So... how was it?

 

We did good raised $406 dollars and got to hang out with Gerald Home.

I had a great time this year. Everything went well. Thanks to the MIS for making it so fun.
Gerald was really cool. I under estimated how fun he would be to hang out with. I'm telling all my star wars friends....

 

I can't believe it was already a week ago. It was by far the best SMF I've been to, between '07, '08, and this year's. So much fun!
