I think the KOTOR costumes idea was shelved....I may dress up still in my Jedi Costume or maybe alter it or something

 

I never really understood the Kotor costumes anyway, being a Kotor virgin. I feel that Firefly/ Serenity costumes would be necessary here, though would love to get into the MAtrix spirit. But hey, remembering the Trinity costume pics, I'm thinking only IC or Lozza could get away with that..or G of course

Speaking of costumes..I'd LOVE to put on that Princess Bride dress of yours IC someday. What size would one have to be to accomplish that?......

Jedis and Matrix costumes worked well combined last time, so throw in a few Firefly ones and we're good to go

 

I have only one thing to say... Wow!

 

Given one of my shirts fit you ok for pooling at the Housewarming (and so say we all!!) .. then the dress would likely fit you, only height would be a bit of a worry... I have 4" supportive dress shoes that would help ... you'd still need to be preparred to carry the skirts up high when you walk around ... but it IS doable girl!!!!!!

I think I'll be going to this for work, so I get free entry! yay! but that probably means I'll be stuck at the stand, so I'll have to take a day off and go with you guys.

 

MS, next chance you can, get the manager, grab him by the shoulders and order him to order boxes of Serenity and FireFly DVDs for your stand.

 

I just got told today that the shop isn't going to supanova. It's too expensive, they said. But on the plus side, I can go without going to work!

I was thinking, for this I want to get a Jayne outfit and possibly a hat so that we could all go as firefly characters! Either that or I make a t-shirt that says "Shiny." With a picture of Kaylee on it.

Except I can't knit, and I don't know anybody who can .

A Simon costume would be easy enough. A cheap vest can ge got from lowes for $25 (don't wear it anywhere else tho )

Actually, It's probably easier to go as Wash, for me. Seeing as its pretty much a blue jumpsuit, and the chest thingy.

This year we are hosting a SW specific costuming comp for kiddies in conjunction with cosplay. So if you have any younglings you can dress up...

Why not TV series Wash? It's even easier - pants and a Hawaiian shirt.
