SuperNova 2006???

Hi Everyone, my annual leave request forms have come out at work
and was just wondering does anyone have any idea of when
SuperNova 2006 will be, as I have to book my leave now, or miss out (again)

Sydney is in October, Brissie is coming up April 21 - 23. I had considered going to brissie but they are late and slow in announcing guests, so I'm probably a no.

Being completely ignorant and not too proud to admit it, I have to ask what Supernova is

 

BenS. - Supernova is a convention for fans of fantasy sci-fi movies and tv plus anime and comics. Kind of a pop culture expo. Heaps of people 'costume up' for the weekend.

 

Wow. Do you guys generally get a group together?

 

Although it sounds fun i'm just not sure raising enough money to get to sydney is virtually impossible

I'm keen. If they have a lineup that beats the one last year in Brissie (Temuera Morrison, Ray Park) I'll be even keener. Pity I missed both

Oh yeah, I was in Japan last October. Please ignore or otherwise feel free to deride my whingeing

 

A small group went last year. Well became a group once they got there. All costumers. Best to budget about $500-$600 at least for that weekend if you're thinking of going. I'm budgeting more. But I have more than one agenda!

 

If I'm going, you guys (well those that want to do so) better be prepared for a night out on old Sydney town on the Saturday

 

I hate to be the spelling nazi, but it's Supanova, not supernova (I know the organisers can't spell. lol)

Last year's event was so much fun. The next one will be bigger and better I am sure

We want to leave here on wednesday the 25th arrive wednesday arvy (Jetstar!)

stay Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday,Monday and leave Tuesday morning.

Will we be broke by then.
