Or is this move going to be just another JC urban legend.

Honestly it would be nice to know or if not just shut down the thread.

 

The move is still planned. Most things are ready. There is NO reason to lock this thread, just because some of you are impatient.

 

*sings* somewhere, sometime, we'll find that place.......

I'm not impatient. I'm one of those that fear change.

I've been wondering, when (and if) we move, will we be able to send the same PM to more than one person at once?

 

Jeff LOL impatient? It's been like 6 months of this hanging not knowing thing? I don't think we're impatient...

 

I wonder if we'll have time to hit 20 million posts on this board before moving to the next one...

 

1) What existing features here are most important to you?

PM's, Icons, sigs, smileys, markup.

2) What new features would you most like to see?

Delete PM's; The ability to create groupings from your WUL (a must for fanfiction, 'cuz we often send out PM's when we update our stories); more smileys.

3) What existing features here are least important to you?

I, personnally, don't use the image feature that much.

4) What features that we don?t have that are common on some other boards do you feel are unimportant?

Not that I can think of - I've only been here and the Official Site, and they are really feature-poor.

5) Are there any particular message board systems that you really like? What do you like about them?

As I said, I haven't touched anything outside of this and The Official Site

6) Are there any forums that you think should be preserved as 100% intact, and should not be pruned at all?

Fanfiction. Leave all the stories intact.

7) Are there any changes to our interface that you would like to see? Is there anything about our interface that you think must be kept as is?

Keep it close to where it is, and I'll be happy. Although, you might wanna seperate some of the stuff on the top of the page a wee bit more.

8) Is there anything else that you feel is important and should be taken into consideration with this move?

Not off the top of my head.

Edit: someone should make a complete list of special characters somewhere (accented vowels, etc.)

 

Are we really moving, or is this just something that you guys are planning for next April fool's day?

April fools, we arn't moving.

 

Still wondering if we'll reach 20M posts on this board before moving.

I'd also like to be able to adjust the timezone to something meaningful for myself.

Threads with new posts since the last logon are flagged on vB whether or not you've set the timezone.

I think that the format shouldn't change very much. I like it this way.

Oh I forgot a feature we have here that I love. The see your latest post. I use that evreyday, I love it! Pleeeease keep it for when we move. It is very importent to me.
