Survival of the Fittest: Fangs of Carnage

In the shadowy underworld of the galaxy there are many blood sports, many indeed, but only one seems to stand out the most lately, one that is on the rise in popularity...even those unconnected to the underworld have begun to watch and join it...

As the Galactic Empire reigned at its height, a lone Yuuzhan Vong appeared to a group of Hutts and offered them a form of entertainment, this new blood sport that appeared that day.

With the art of body graphing and bio-engineering, one takes an animal, a non-sentient creature, and take off parts of it and add new parts from different creatures. In a sense, hunting for one?s own Ultimate Creature. And through it, they pit these creatures in combat. Some people who join and put in creatures, usually eventually end up forming ?teams? consisting of a bunch of altered animals they own.

Sometimes, there are team battles, a bunch of creatures vs. the other creatures. Sometimes there are tournaments. Sometimes there are free-for-all matches. Sometimes there are even a sentient person vs. an altered creature if the person challenges one.

They are not always death matches, usually death matches have come out of arguments and challenges only, most matches are knock outs or the owner of their animal yells out a forfeit if it is wounded enough or for any other reason.

A lot of matches are conducted through owners challenging each other in the market place where they can order equipment to train their creatures or buy new parts for their animal, while sometimes substituting other ones away. Always improving.

Also, most matches are the knock out or forfeit variety so creatures usually come back for more and win-loss records are around. If the record is good enough an animal?s owner can submit for it to be retired.

Most matches are done, if an owner doesn?t challenge someone else, doesn?t accept a challenge, or just plain hasn?t been challenged; by simply putting in an entry to the Fight Desk where an opponent is randomly selected out of other fighters who put in an entry.

Here are the places one can be on each planet, as the places where the sport is being held changes occasionally, each arena for the fights is different on each planet, I?ll describe them for you.

***The Arena***

[For Creatures and Challenged Sentient Beings Only]{Owners stand just outside the arena, in between the stands and the arena floor and are equipped with a red flag to throw in for a forfeit} (Warning: Streakers for this sport are heavily cautioned against)

***The Land of Blood***

(Each planet has a large section dedicated to the sport, it reflects the planets natural geography, so its usually untouched land, and its large and open...so creatures can hunt down the other combatants...this is for team and free-for-all matches only)

***The Creature ?Hangar?***

(Where all creatures are held till their match and where their owners can interact with them...as well as the public can look from the fence and watch, admiring their favorite ones or just out of curiosity. There are two parts of it, the stables where each animal is in a stable like situation logically, only owners are allowed in there...and the field where animals can run around freely and exercise, no fighting allowed here and the public fans can watch from a fence surrounding it)

***The Market Place***

(Besides the ?Hangar,? another excellent spot to interact with other owners. And of course, to order new organic parts, request to take away organic parts, buy equipment, armor, and even place bets. The public is abundant here)

Physical Appearance: Just like a normal Yuuzhan Vong, though without any different body parts...scars and cuts, but that?s it. Wears a gray trench coat.

Bio: Viic Fa?Schzaaang is a rogue Yuuzhan Vong and went on to run into the Hutts on Nal Hutta, getting them to like the idea of his blood sport. His idea of Survival of the Fittest in terms of the non-sentient beings of the galaxy. Made Overseer of the organization of the sport and Unofficial Boss of the sport when it was small. As it grew though and became known quite well, he was given a more proper title of Commissioner and now resides as the leader of the entire sport. Being a former shaper in his galaxy and taking some of his organic technology when he ran away, this is how Viic came up with this. He watches over the sport now quietly, observing all, and enjoying everything.

Starting Creature: Rancor (But not for fights, he sits atop the rancor?s head sometimes to watch fights if not from a box in the stands, its also one of his bodyguards as it is well trained)

Armor: Strong arm guards, strong leg guards, form fitting helmet, and custom made, cortosis, durasteel-lined claw enhancers.

Race: Unknown [hides appearance and knowledge]

Physical Appearance: Unknown [She has own a dark hood with her face underneath it, her face cannot be seen, the cloak is black and hangs down loosely on her, though underneath is a black jumpsuit with two dark grey stripes going up from her legs that look like tiger stripes, but that isn?t seen unless the cloak comes off]

Bio: Satacide?s real name is currently, as of yet, unknown to everyone but the Commissioner. No one knows of her origins, let alone the Commissioner?s, though even more so with her. All is known that when Viic first appeared, Satacide was by his side then too. She is a skilled warrior and duelist it is known, as well as a great animal trainer. When the sport was founded and Viic made Commissioner, she was given the job of Inquisitor, the person head of all enforcement of rules, doing it mostly herself, as well as the one who approves of all equipment ideas and designs, she accompanies those who approach owners to test their prototype gear. A completely serious person,as everyone sees her as some deadly male, she masks her voice as deeply and eerily as she can to make it truly seem like she is a man...doing a fairly decent job. People are usually convinced or just think its because of her race, whatever it is.

Starting Creature: Dewback though with red glowing eyes, retractable spikes all over its body when it feels the need or ordered by its master, sharper claws, krayt dragon teeth, and a suspicious looking tail.... The skin is also the same as a dewbacks, but made black somehow. No one knows how all this was done.

Where acquired: Tatooine, the changes were made in and at unknown places and times.

Armor: Claw enhancements, sharp metal points on the tips of the teeth that inject a type of poison, hover jets.

Bio: Born in a traditional Correlian family, Aulrik always loved the outdoors as a kid. He loved camping and hunting. As a teen, he became a professional hunter, competing and winning in the tournaments in Coronet. When he was able to leave planet, he discovered the vast world of Galactic Big Game Hunting, for which he dived right in. Aulrik has done countless safaris, and his poaching of hides, furs, horns, and various other cash herds has made him quite wealthy. Aulrik has undergone quite a bit of injuries in his hunting, with various bites, stings, and wounds from the animals he tracked. Aulrik knows much about the dangerous beings that inhabit the galaxy, and was more than happy to try his hand at the competitive fighting circuit.
