JCC Survivor 41: Come on in!

The next season of Survivor will air in the fall of 2013 and it is being reported that it will feature returning castaways playing against their own family members. Blood vs Water.

Nothing is confirmed but these names have been RUMORED to be the contestants for Season 27:

Tina Wesson (Winner of S:2 The Australian Outback) and her daughter
Kat (S:24 One World) and her cousin
Monica Culpepper (S:24 One World) and her husband
Laura Morett (S:19 Samoa) and her daughter
RC Saint-Armour (S:25 Philippines) and her father

Males
Rob Cesternino (S:6 The Amazon, S:8 All-Stars) and his wife
Rupert (S:7 Pearl Islands, S:8 All-Stars, S:20 Heroes vs Villains) and his wife
Gervase (S:1 Borneo) and his nephew
Aras (S:12 Panama- Exile Island) and his brother
Tyson (S:18 Tocantins, S:20 Heroes vs Villains) and his girlfriend

I'm sorry, but how exactly is any of that a spoiler? I think the only thing that counts as spoilers in a game show are if you actually post information about who gets voted out where ahead of time. It's not like we won't know who the contestants are ahead of time anyway. Absolutely none of this info, if true, will spoil even the first episode because it'll be announced ahead of time...

Anyway, I think it's a really interesting concept, and as soon as I saw the title for next season, I figured I knew what it was going to be about. It'll definitely be a whole different dynamic. I think the husband/wife teams are going to instantly going to get back together if they make it to the merge. I also think that's what everyone else will assume, too. The paranoia of who in your own tribe you don't want to see make it to the merge is going to be interesting.

I'm not sure who I would pick to win the thing if the cast is correct. Rob C. is probably the most intelligent player, but everybody knows that which will make him a target very early. But he does have alot of friends from doing his reality tv talk show so who knows if he can form a 4-5 person alliance and ride it all the way.

I didn't know Colton faked his bacterial infection from One World. I guess that makes him the game's first 2x quitter. Anyway, glad he's gone.

Best part of the episode was Marissa letting Culpepper have it.

 

I wonder if him quitting is part of a strategy to allow his partner to progress further in the game? ie. Maybe the target will be removed from his back with Colton gone?

 

27? Holy crap. I watched bits of the first season and that was it. Did they ever actually start surviving or do they still just not eat on tv in an exotic locale while wearing very little clothing?

This season is officially great so far.

 

Lovin the hatin for Culpepper its hilarious. Next weeks episode looks interesting with his wife asking to switch. Damn good strategy.

Lol at the Brains team. I love how brawn got a fire started right away. And I really like the female cop, she could go all the way. The Vin Diesel cop, not so much.

I can't for the life of me figure why Tony didn't use one of his idols to save Trish. Bringing Kass and Trish to the end was his only hope.

 

Looks like ultimately, it was a smart move though.
