I liked the t-shirt, but no time for t-shirts right now. Okay I can't believe I dropped the Jar Jar bomb on the board and am able to continue posting. So here is #9

The Royal Starship, this ship is by far the best in TPM in my opinion of course. They (meaning ILM) used the sounds of a B-52 bomber for the back ground noise this baby made while entering orbit around Courscant. This is one big Daddy type ship. It is like a Caddy with Spinners, lol, man is it late.

Okay I will keep em coming but a little disappointed no banter about Jar Jar.

#8...the Droidekas, awesome machine and nearly unstoppable in a close battle with shields. 3 of them were able to hold off a Jedi Master and his Padawan learner means these babies can rock and roll.

    more later this week

okay....#7 Gungan army going on to the battle field. I am talking about the scene were they come out of the fog and the Gungans are blowing horns in the background, I am talking the scene were we all got a glimpse in movie previews prior to release. I love that scene and always get pumped when that scene arrives.

attended a fun Sci-Fi concert in Indianapolis,

    http://www.indianapolissymphony.org/season/production.aspx?performanceid=566&src=t

It was actually a better concert than the one I saw
in Chicago with the CSO, but then the CSO had John Williams,

    however, INDY was great!

Next Indiana visit, is to IU, in Bloomington for
    the Little 500

    Ed

oh, they played a lot of Star Wars Music, had the 501st in attendance,
and a great display of Star Wars stuff from collectors and others.

yeah, there was some Star Wrek stuff there as well,
....but it was fun to meet Walter Koenig (Chekov) from Star Trek.

That sounds like it was awesome. I wish I had know about it before; I would have tried to attend. Is this an annual event?

Hey Music Trooper, isn't the little 500 a bike race, I believe my neighbor has raced in that???

#6 HOw cool was the grappling hooks in the Naboo security guns. I could use that in my real life. Elevator out and boom whip out my gun and scale the building. Good Stuff

The ISO event of a SCI-FI concert, seemed like a special event
to me and not an annual one. It was kinda pricy with tickets starting
    at around $45.00

I would suggest using their web site (see my post above)
to look at their season at a glance. And now that
we have this lovely BLOG, I will try to post info on any such
    event in the future.

    ref, Little 500,
Yes, this is bascially a bicycle race, ref film BREAKING AWAY,
but it is also kinda a week long series of events,
but the main focus is the

    04-21-06 women's race
    and
    04-22-06 men's race

here is a link, hopefully to the I.U. calander of events.

I think I missed the ET in the audience.

Makes me hungry for Reese's Pieces though.

Look back at the Senate chambers, you can see 3 representatives from the home planet of ET.

#3 Double Edge Light Saber, how awesome was that. I hadn't been that stoked since seeing the original light sabers when I was 6 years old.

yes, as BDZ said, we saw Benchwarmers, and now I know that we will never have a gated driveway, because BDZ would insist on the Darth Vader intercom.

(Sidenote: Thanks for the little ditty a few posts back, MusicTrooper. Kids have kept me very very busy lately, but thanks for thinking of me)

Not much time for the SW universe today but I am looking foward to watching episode 3 this week or weekend. Hard to believe it has been 7 years since Phantom Menace and all the hype that surrounded it.

I still think it would be great to see someone take the torch from Lucas and work on a Prequel to the Prequel. Lucas is the king but every king's time comes to an end eventually.
