    Love the recent BLOG posts:)

wish I could get away myself,

but am currrently an out-break victim.....or,
that is how I feel about my current bout with the flu....

guess, I am just a big baby, as I never get sick,
and am unsure about why this thing won't go away....as I head into week three,

in other thoughts......is it too early to start contemplating HALLOWEEN,

and, any body buying the exclusives and DVDs just released?

Nope, not too late to start thinking Halloween. I'm already planning our kids halloween party we have each year.

SW related - Aiden may take Darth Vader for show & tell in a couple of weeks, for the letter D, although he's really pushing for the dog.

    ref......D for Darth......

way cool, as even people who have never seen Star Wars, know a Darth,
is the D for the Dark Side of the force:)

In other news, have just finished viewing the
current version of the "so called" original release version of the OT.

Star Wars and Empire, were pretty ok...

but was still found Jedi, weak....

with the Lapni Nek (replaced by Jedi-Rocks in later versions)

being much different than my Cd and Record of this One and only
    Star Wars, Original Song,

Sorry not to count the Jawa song, but the full version was never
released to my knowledge, and I have heard a Karaoke attempt
of Lapni Nek......and actually, it is kinda a sing along chorus song,

but not the version I saw in the OT re-issue,

    anyone know more about this?

    always open for ideas,

wishing you guys in SouthBend the best as always,

    Ed

So, it's not really the original OT, but a "diet" version of the Special Edition OT? So, what, they took the Special Edition, sucked out the Special Edition bits, and then added in the original bits?

Also, I've not watch yet, but I've heard that the originals are not in anamorphic, but only 4:3. True?

So, speaking of the latest releases, is anyone planning on hosting a viewing party so we can watch the original OT in all its glory?

I'd volunteer but my 26" TV would get overshadowed pretty quickly. :)

ref, anamorphic.....wish I new more about how to recognize/know this.

but, it does not look as widescreen, as I thought it should,
    the credits look re-done,

the openings, still have the 20-th Century FOX logo/fanfare,
but are quickly followed by the LucasFilm logo, which should not be there,

but for those who have a lot of time on there hands, try these links for
some info on differences in general,

Here is a bit of additional wild thought,

even though I have already been to a Chicago Force viewing party,
I would be interested in another one......dare I suggest, just the
original STAR WARS and Oct. 31 for the evening?
or to view the entire OT, kinda requires,
an 8-hour pc of time, including getting started/setting up/getting everyone there,
changing disks/time to socialize/saying goodbye...sob/ and of course, cleaning up.

even if no, it's just a nice thought for any South Bend
    get-to-gether,

assuming the scounderls at WOBDZ don't sink her ship:)

WOW, have I got SW related stuff for you guys!!! I'm out in Vegas, apparently the dark side has come to Sin City
They now have Star Wars slots. I was laughing, instead of cherries or BAR or stuff like that, you have to get all the characters in a row. Then, if you hit the bonus Darth Vader thing, you either duel or choose your storm trooper to shoot, and it spins the death star up top and if it lands on that circle, it blows up the death star and you get all kinds of credits. I lost of course, lol. But it's fun to watch. They even have two separate machines, one of course is the good guys and the other is the dark side. Sounds like time for a SBFF Vegas trip, lol

AND the M&Ms store is clearing out their M&M SW plush, key rings, pins, figurines (5/$95) Apparently it's out with SW and in with Pirates. I took pictures and video cllps of the slots so when I get home I can share them.

Duck Fadar: "Luke, I am your bath toy."

"Duck Fadar is a rubber duck utilizing the "force" of LED to generate random colors while in the tub. A young Jedi no longer needs to choose between the light or the dark; now it's more like the fuchsia or the aquamarine. Neat feature: lighting is automatic when Fadar is dropped into water."

    working on helmet repairs,
wondering about visiting I.U.B. (if armor repaired)
wondering about Star Wars and Halloween for the Holidays.

saw a STAR WARS clue in the Chicago Sun-times cross words today,

Looking forward to a prop party/get-together, where I should meet
    some new Star Wars fans.

    that will be this Sat,

Last Sat, visited star wars friends in INDY,
had fun, learned more about prop and molding.

    that is it for now:)
