Areas Where you can get fabric for SW Costumes:

Arab Street (near Sultan Mosque)
Mostly Satin & Silk Fabrics but there are also other variety such as
Chiffons, Organzas, Laces, Cotton, Velvets, 100% Polyester etc etc. Selling
price is usually per metre and bargaining by a dollar or 2 can be done,
especially for "bulk" purchases

Chinatown (People's Park Shopping Center 2nd Level)
Mostly Cotton & patterned fabrics. Also got velvet, polyester mix, satin,
Chinese Brocades etc etc. Also the place to get thin Vinyl/Fake leather
fabrics. Selling price is per yard.

Spotlight (Orchard Point & Tampinese DBS Building)
Prices are much higher than at Arab Street or Chinatown but variety in
the color of certain fabrics such as Lycra, Cotton Drill & Cheesecloth is
high. Also the only place to get Cotton Lycra

Little India (behind/beside Tekkah Market)
Where you may be able to find Khadi (Indian Homespun). Lots of Sari
fabrics as usual though

As posted by JediJean concerning a source for Riding Boots:

Anyone thinking of getting Riding Boots locally should check out D'equestrian Paradise Singapore Pte Limited.

They have a range of Riding Boots that cost anything from about SGD$100 upwards, so you can probably try them to find the right pair of boots for yourself.

The price depends on:
- boot size
- width of your calves
- materials the boot is made out of (rubber or leather)
- brand of the boot
- whether or not there is a comfortable lining on the inside of the boot
- The height of the boot (whether it is ankle-high, calf-high, or knee-high boots)

Here are the details of the store:

D'equestrian Paradise Singapore Pte Limited

Address:
No. 6 Tagore Drive,
#01-05,
Tagore Industrial Building,
Singapore 787623.

Tel: 6554-0550 (24 hrs)
Fax: 6554-0301
E-mail: dequest@starhub.net.sg
Shopsite:
horseshop.com.sg

Here's a suggestion though...
If you're on a budget, you might want to contact them first to find out if they are having any special promotions on any of their boots, before you go down to buy a pair for yourself. This way, you might be able to get them at discounted prices instead of at the usual prices.

If anyone happen to drop by the Costuming & Prop side of this Forum, please do read through the TFN Costumes Forum FAQ and at least 10 pages of threads backwards to see if the question you have had already been listed out or answered. ;)

And remember that for safety reasons, we can't post any links to anyone selling SW Costumes/Armor/Props; only can pass it on by PM. We want to have the people still available when we need them, right?

Places To Get Staedtler Ball Liquid Point 415/413

Popular Bookstores
-Orchard MRT Station (SGD 1.85 each)
-Choa Chu Kang Lot 1 (the smaller shop)

Alternative to this is the Highlighter STAEDTLER Liquid Star 324 at SGD1.85 and is more readily available.

For the more hungry Jedi Knights, you can use STAEDTLER Gel Roller 465 (Point 0.4) which is longer.

The bottom is just a semi-sphere button you can get at SGD0.30 each at most sewing/handicraft stores. Recommanded to get the Gold or Silver ones rather than Pearl.

For painting them, Krylon's is highly recommanded and the metallic color can be obtained from Spotlight (Orchard Point or Tampines DBS Building). Primer & Finisher layer is a must and it's a good idea to use Krylon's too.

For some discussions on this, check out this
thread

My Tutorial & comments are also available if you want. ;)

An open invitation to those who have good Rebels/Jedi/Royalty/Smugglers/Creatures Costumes;

JOIN THE REBEL LEGION

http://www.rebellegion.com/.

There is no annual fees or requires you to be involve in anything but to be just over 18 years old and own the costumes listed as under the RL.

The critia for the Jedi, Smugglers, Creatures & Royalty are quite lenient compared to the Rebel Forces so why not give it a try? :D

-Somewhere to let the primed/painted pellets & clips, on Satay/Bamboo Skewers to dry by poking into stuffs like Soil in Flower Pot or Weighted down Florist's Sponge or Plastercine etc.

2. ASSEMBLY:

(i) Remove the Pen. Using a Pliers/Scissors/Metal Ruler or your fingers, remove the metal clip.
(ii) Wipe the caps clean with Nail Polish Remover to remove any dirt, oil etc.
(iii) Lightly scuff the surface to be glued on both Pen Cap and back of Round Button with 220 Sandpaper.
(iv) Place sufficient amount of Glue onto both surfaces and press both side together. Leave to dry for at least 1/2 a day.

3. PAINTING

(i) Scuff the Surfaces to be painted with 220 Sandpaper and wipe clean using wet tissue or rag. Wipe dry with dry tissue/rag and left to dry for about 10 minutes.

(ii) Mount the Cap onto a Bamboo Skewer.

(iii) Prepare the area where painting is to be done by covering exposed areas with Newspaper or Plastic Wrap.

(iv) From about an Arms? Length, give the surface a few short burst of the Primer while slowly rotating till roughly the cap is covered with the Primer (if the yellow/red/clear surface is still seen, it?s okay).
(v) Leave to dry for 4-12 hours.
(vi) Lightly scuff the primed area with the sandpaper or rough sponger and wipe off all dusts with hand/dry rag/dry tissue.

(vii) Repeat Step (iv)-(vi)

(viii) From an arm?s length, give the surface ~2 short burst of the Color Paint while slowly rotating the cap. Leave to dry for at least 12 hours (24 hours recommended).
(ix) Lightly scuff the surface with the sandpaper or rough sponge and wipe off all dust with dry rag/tissue/hand.

(x) Repeat Step (viii). Let dry for about 2 days to 1 week to ensure all surfaces are completely dry.

(xi) From an arm?s length, give the surface 2 short burst of the Finisher while slowly rotating the cap (ENSURE THAT IT DOESN?T MELT THE PAINT LAYER!). Let dry for at least 24 hours, 2 days recommended.

(xii) Repeat Step (xi) and let dry for a week.

(xiii) Repeat process with the clip. For the part that will slot into the cap top, not necessary to paint it completely.

4. ASSEMBLY

Put a tissue or plastic etc, between the pen cap and the clip and slowly but firmly slide in the clip into its slot. Sand a bit the surface of the clip to be inserted into its slot if needed.

Start wearing it on your Jedi Belt. ;)
GOOD LUCK! :)
