That's my issue: I'd love to see the footage shot with the IMAX camera on a big IMAX screen, but I'm not willing to watch the movie in 3D to do so.

 

Don't quote me on this, but I think actual, authentic IMAX screens wouldn't have a 3d version. It would simply be the 70mm 2d film version. But yeah I don't want to see a 3d post-converted version either.

BOO to France it just joined the growing list of countries getting the movie on Dec 16 and not 18th like a lot of other countries.

My Photoshop Marquee of one of the few theaters in the country that had ANH in 1977 and will have TFA in 2015.

 

It's so weird to think that in around 100 days, we will see a new Star Wars movie (One by Disney no less). I still remember being a kid back in 2005, thinking that ROTS would be the end of the saga.

 

Wow a little over 3 months to go.

 

My body is ready.

 

I vividly remembers leaving the theater on opening night feeling sad that I'd never see a new Star Wars film again, and Googling "Star Wars Episode VII" every month or so for the next several years.

Dreams do come true.

 

and the best part all the original cast are back to reprise their iconic roles, for at least one more epic journey

I could practically squeal for joy. A day early! Ya-har!

Excuse me while I go and do a little dance.

Although the bad news is that I'm going to have to go to work the next day. Darn.

 

so the UK is getting the movie on the 17th, the UAE is still #1 with a Dec 15 release, which would mean spoilers will be online on the 14th of December given the time difference.

One day early... 100 days would be good

I seriously hope North America also get a 17th release.

 

The 17th really makes my life easier, we are taking the kids to Lapland on the 19th to see Santa and my wife wasnt keen on my son going to midnight showing the night before

 

Where were we 100 days ago?

Looks like the last exams here at my Uni is 12/15 so midnight release, HERE I COME

 

We were all saying "OMG it's 200 days!".
