Syra, NY SW Hero and villian disc in Sunday Tasmanian

Just saw an ad on tv for the Star Wars Hero and villian disc that I had heard was only going to be in the Hearald Sun in Melb, Its going to be in the Sunday Tasmanian, which is the Hobart paper, but if my small town gets it in Im sure everyone can get it at their local newsagent.

 

Yeah, I heard about that too.

Wooo-hooo!

(We can get the Mercury as easily as the Examiner up here).

You know, somebody on the executive board of the Mercury must be star wars friendly. We got the pin collection, the poster and now this!

 

I was away when the pin collection started, so I eneded up getting the QLD full set off Ebay.

 

I got it, I watched it, and now I am complete .

BTW, was the QLD pin collection any different from the ones elsewhere? I got the whole set through the Tas papers (though my C-3P0 and Jabba pics have come unstuck from the pin maybe the glue washed off whilst they were swimming down here).

 

The QLD pin set had 20 pins in it all the other ones had 15.

 

I got the heroes DVD today in the Daily Telegraph.

The reason they have them is that the Mercury is part of News Limited along with the Herald Sun and The Daily Telegraph.

So who are the extra five people?

I've got: Anakin/Vader, Palpatine/Sidious, clone/stormtrooper, Padme, Grevious, Jabba, Obi-Wan, Mace, Yoda, Luke, Leia, Han, R2-D2 (Whose caption says Anakin/Darth Vader - I wonder if mine's the only one ) C-3P0 and Chewie.

 

The five extra are Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, Count Dooku, Bail Organa and Boba Fett.

I would have put Boba in the smaller set before Grievous.

 

Yeah, but I suppose they were making it EpIII oriented. But that's still no excuse for not including Qui-Gon. I want!

 

It pays to have friends in all parts of the country and the world.

 

We didnt get the pins in SA, just the posters & the DVD.

Got both sets of pins off of eBay...

worth it too. Paid lees for the pin & folder set than it would've cost to buy retail.. on BOTH occasions.
