SW Movies: Rank the Titles!

What are people's favorite titles among the SW movies? I'll rank mine, most favorite to least:

The Phantom Menace - Nice and mysterious; is it Sideous... or Anakin?!?
Return of the Jedi - The more I think about it, the more I think it could be a reference to Anakin.
A New Hope - Very uplifting, almost as good as its original one!
Attack of the Clones - Ok, but a little odd, can't quite put my finger on it. I guess a movie like AOTC is difficult to capture in a single title
The Empire Strikes Back - A striking title, but doesn't convey any additional meaning like the others


Although if you call ANH, "Star Wars", that is still my favorite title of all!

I always thought Return of the Jedi was the 'coolest' of the 5 SW film titles. I wonder what Ep3 will be called...

1-ROTJ
2-ANH
They are the most abstract. While most think both refer to Luke, I think ROTJ means Anakin's return and the new hope was Anakin's memory resurrecting, as I've described before.

3-TPM
Still intriguing, but just adaquette (sp?) sounding.

4-AOTC
Interesting, but too childish (I'll get bashed for that comment)

5-TESB
Good movie, but the title's too concrete. Leaves little imagination.

For some reason, I always like titles like ''return of the something'' or ''the something returns'' in them. So guess what's my fave.

 

Return of the jedi ~ For 20 years we didnt know what it REALLY meant. This one has the most meaning, saga wise.

A New Hope ~ Another one that describes a chapter in the Star Wars Saga.

(These are really the only two that have meaningful titles.^^^^^)

The Phantom Menace ~ Who is it, anyway? And what is that supposed to mean?

The Empire Strikes Back ~ You cant get any more of an accurate title, but doesnt have much to do with the overall saga, does it?.

Attack of the Clones ~ Hmmm. I see. Naming an entire movie after something that happens for 15 minutes at the end of the movie involving minor characters that has little import on the overall movie, let alone the overall saga. Smart.



P.S. The best possible title for Ep3, saga-wise, would be "Fall of the Jedi." Even though it is 100% unoriginal, it would be the perfect title, paralleling Anakin's fall, with the actual death of all the Jedi, tieing in again with "Return of the Jedi" which refers to Anakin's return and the actual, literal return of all the Jedi order. You know it to be true.

I'm sorry, Please forgive me, But can someone explain why they think ESB's title has No meaning ?
I know it's a self explanatory title, but come on, It describes the Whole movie!
Han frozen in Carbonite
Han & Leia running from the Empire the whole movie
Luke gets his hand chopped off & barely survives
The Empire WINS for the moment

Maybe it's just me, But It's my favorite title

Thats just what everyone's saying. Theres no deeper meaning. Its perfectly accurate. And thats it.

 

I'm basing this as if I have not seen the movies and guessing what the titles mean.

Empire Strikes Back - The title says it all and gives you a feeling of dread. Who is going to survive the wrath of the Empire?

Return of the Jedi - Is it Luke or will a group of Jedi suddenly appear?

The Phantom Menance - Is it Anakin or Palpatine? Or reall a Phantom?

A New Hope - Who or what is the New Hope?

Attack of the Clones - Are the clones going to be attacking the Republic?

Yeah, I get it Darth Weenie, ESB just seems like the Coolest title to me, But yeah Jedi probably has the more deeper meaning title
