Spok, WA SW RPG Week of 3/30 Meeting

Okay, I'll be back in the saddle for this one. Again, thank you Mason for sitting in, and thanks to all the players for not making Mason run out of the room crying.

Okay, so Thursday or Friday would work best for me. Everyone else?

Sean and I are dragging people to Seattle on Friday, so it would have to be Thursday for us. =/

 

If need be, I can switch to Thursnight.

Technically Thursday or Friday for me. Of course that assumes my wife lets me out at night by myself

 

If it ends up being Thrusday night I hope that someone takes good notes so I know what I missed.

I'm counting 3 that can do Thursday only, and 1 that can do Friday only. Regardless of which one Alfredo can do, we'll be missing the most if we do it Friday night. (Isn't it great knowing you're inconsequential from time to time?)

Anyways, as long as Crosby hasn't been taken, we'll meet down there Thursday night. Someone will ahve to volunteer to take Nat's job of quote tracking and synopsis at the end of the night.

 

I just left a message with Alfredo. Hopefully he can chime in tonight.

 

I'm bringing Nat's Laptop. I'll take notes.

 

Thursday is the only night that will work for me.

The confirmation is that due to Sean and I procrastinate too much so we can't come tonight because we put off waaaay too much before our road trip tomorrow. So we have to bow out of this one real last minute. Sorry everybody. =(

 

Well, should we try to last minute switch to friday for Nat or just stay where we are?

 

Well, I was planning an assault on Jabba's palace tonight, but missing Sean, Steph, and Nat will hinder that.

I don't want to switch to Friday at the last minute because:

a) we lose Alfredo and Chris if it goes to Friday, and we're already down three people now.

b) I have planned to work until 6:30 Friday since I confirmed we're playing Thrusday, and after work I'm taking my girlfriend to see a play, so my evening is full.

I'm going to whip up a different adventure for tonight, which will probably end my run as GM for the time being. Any takers on who's next?

Is the plan to start a new campaign with new characters, or does Corvalis make up a character and everyone else keeps going with the ones we have?

 

I'm essentially hitting the "pause" button after tonight, since it'll be a good stopping point. We will come back to this campaign when I decide to run it again. Save your characters after tonight, you'll need to use the same ones for my campaign later. I intend to pick this up at a later date, then "pause" it again after a few months of running. I will eventually get you guys all the way to level 20, and all the way through the events of ROTJ.

We'll just switch to a different campaign with different characters run by a different GM. We'll talk more about this tonight. If needs be, I can run a few more sessions of this one until the next GM is ready. I'm just getting a little burnt out on it right now. After a month or two, I'll be good to go again. This is the advantage of having multiple GMs in a group. Now we have a chance for someone else to start a different storyline. That way, everyone feels refreshed after running one thing for a couple months.

That, and I'm itching to get back into the d20 system Star Wars. I have a Doctor I want to play.
