GenCon Indy starts tomorrow guys-n-gals, and if you enjoy playing the game and you've got the opportunity to go, I HIGHLY suggest you do so.

The Star Wars TCG Championship 2004 will be held on Aug. 21st. There will be an open event on Aug. 20th, where the top 16 finishers will qualify to join the current invitees in the Championship.

Click on the link above to view the fabulous cash and prizes (without the cash) Wizards is ponying up, along with the list of players already qualified.

Wizards' site also has a link that will forward you to GenCon's website. There was a way to view all the scheduled events at Indy, but that seems to be currently unavailable.

Sure wish I was going... :_|

Also, the CCG Player's Committee is hosting a SW:CCG tournament, and there will also be an initial demo of the Star Wars Miniatures game by Wizards, too.

Golly... talk about being a date late and a dollar short...

The official site dropped this on us yesterday: Get your Game On: Wizards of the Coast at Gen Con

They have detailed information regarding the release of the new Star Wars miniatures (which link right into the Star Wars RPG game) along with all the links I mentioned in the previous post.

Jeff Lankey with TF.N posted a Day 1 report from GenCon for the CCG/TCG/RPG sections. There are some interesting tidbits for the future of the TCG. It behooves you to check it out!

Thanks to Valoisian for the following intel:

Adam with Team Bus won the SWTCG World Championship at GenCon. Teambus.net has some nice pics of the event. As well as the Topeka, Ks. team, Team Cliegg, at http://www.teamcliegg.com.

Good luck to everyone as we try to get to the next Big Show (and don't let the post-GenCon ninnies that talk down on the game bring you down as well).
