Discussion in 'Literature' started by Nathan PTH, Sep 7, 2002.
ChronoRadio #21: Return of the Revenge is now available, as is the Star Wars Timeline Gold #37.
ChronoRadio #24 in December is going to deal with two feature topics:
What would fans like to see done in future SW novels?
What would fans like to see done in future SW comic books?
We're going back to the original, early days of ChronoRadio in that instead of having a live guest on, I'd like to get comments from a bunch of different people via message boards and email, then bring up those comments on the show and expand upon them.
So, if you have thoughts on either of the two questions above, post your thoughts. Your comments might find their way into CR #24.
(And, yes, the reason this is a separate thread is so that we can assume that those who post are acknowledging a desire and permission to have those thoughts aired.)
ChronoRadio: Episode 21.5: ConCarolinas 2005
ChronoRadio: Interview Edition: Greg Keyes (Part 1)
ChronoRadio: Attack of the Clones Film Commentary
...are all now available!
ChronoRadio #22: A Kind of Magic (August 2005) is now available!
ChronoRadio's Interview Edition with the editors of "Star Wars and Philosophy" (Jason Eberl and Kevin Decker) is now available.
What is this episode about?
Sorry for the delay. It's dealing with the question of the Force as magic or psi powers plus the question of parallels between SW and Harry Potter.
And . . .
ChronoRadio's new Interview Edition with Michael Stackpole is now available.
Even better, The Star Wars Timeline Gold #38, a brand new release for September 2005, is now available as well!
Both can be found at starwarsfanworks.com (see sig link).
thx so much for SWT Gold. It has been invaluable in writing the history of SW planets for Wookieepedia.
I'm glad it's helped.
Hey Nathan, I'm also a big fan of your timeline. Nice update!
Would've been better if I could've gotten Dark Warning in there, but, eh, it'll be in the next one. I'm not sure yet if that'll be Dec. 1 or Jan. 1 just yet, though.
ChronoRadio #23 is now available.
I'm looking to find people for future segment guests on CR. What I need are people who are . . .
- Big into SW comics (including the old Marvel stuff)
- Big into SW novels (including the old Bantam and early Del Rey stuff)
- Big into the SW actors outside of SW
- Big into SW video games (old and new)
- Have read/used almost every Essential Guide
- Have read all of Jedi Apprentice, Jedi Quest, and Last of the Jedi
If you fit any of these criteria, post here or email me at email@example.com.
I completely forgot to post!
ChronoRadio #24: A New Storytelling Hope
ChronoRadio: Interview Edition: Jeremy Barlow (Dark Horse Associate Editor and SW writer)
Both are now available!
The Clone Wars Vol. 2 DVDs have hit stores . . .
So, today marks the release of the Clone Wars Vol. 2 DVD Commentary from ChronoRadio. It's available now on the site (see links below).
Quick Update: It looks like Jan. 1 (or so) for the next Star Wars Timeline Gold release. I'm finishing reading The Swarm War and Last of the Jedi: Underworld for summarizing over the next few days. We'll be kicking off the new year on the right food.
And . . . I just realized I said the right FOOD, not FOOT.
At any rate, the new edition has only two more items to add, barring any new comics this week when I check with the comic shop tomorrow. So, we're definitely looking at Jan. 1 alongside Fan Audio Made Easy #11 and The Butlerniverse #4.
I've also finally updated the blog at [link=http://blogs.starwars.com/fanaudio/]blogs.starwars.com/fanaudio/[/link] after a long absence when it became the Featured Blog today.
Counting down the hours to the update!!!!!
BTW Nathan, check out your no. 1 fan at the DH boards
: blink :
And here I thought most of the time when I was discussed, it was badly.
Do we have any idea who that might be? I used to know a lot of SWT readers by name, but that was back when it was all email-based distribution rather than downloading from the site. I'm doubting that among the thousands that downloaded the September 1 edition he'd be someone I'd know, but there's always a chance.
Freaky. But, hey, I guess the hard work's paying off and getting some good word of mouth out there, right?
The Star Wars Timeline Gold #39 (Overall Release #68, Dated January 1, 2006) is now available!
It has nothing directly to do with ChronoRadio or the timeline (except in how I got the job), but if anyone's interested, my story in Star Wars Tales #21 (Equals and Opposites) was just reprinted in Star Wars Tales Volume 6.
Now where did I leave my Plug?
Edit: Oh yeah, when can I get it in the UK? Can't wait to read it.
Now, see, this would be a good time for me to start quoting Billy Joel or Garth Brooks, right? About being shameless.
ChronoRadio #25 (At the Movies) is now available.
ChronoRadio #26: Last of the Essential Jedi . . . is now out.
Fan Audio Made Easy #17: Few Actors, Many Voices . . . is now out.
And my new original audiobook (podcast novel) has begun. The first four chapters of the story, entitled Echoes, are now out there at:
