SW Toys!

That might not sound like a big deal to you, but those of you who've seen where those figures are in my house understand why my mother wants to murder me.

*dies of laughter* All too true.

 

Mary, I find that the easiest way to keep track of my figures is to keep myself educated about all the variations. I regularly check sirstevesguide.com for variation news and they keep excellent track of all figure variations released.

All the figures have barcode numbers, and while that will give you a product number, I find that to be pretty worthless keeping track of as many figures as I have. The '03/#1 numbering system is helpful to make sure you don't miss a figure, and the rest just depends on how picky you are about collecting variations. I collect almost all card variations and most sculpt variations, and I also collect errors that I find interesting.

Older figures were easier for card changes because they numbered the cards (POTJ and older, numbering like 586940.01). None of the Saga figures have a useful numbering system like that. However, on the plus side, there aren't too many notable variations in the Saga line, and that makes my life easier.

Now, that was probably way more than you were asking about, but as you can see, I can talk about action figures to almost no end. I've done a lot of work with these figures over the years, and I'd be happy to give you more specific advice.

I got a AOTC droid blaster for under $20...that's with a 30% markdown off whatever the lowest marked price is. That goes for everything in the store!!!!

No it wasn't too much. Thanks for your help. I do't think to want to get much more serious than I like this character so I want an action figure of them. I'm obsessed with collection too much already.

Hey Krash, any of the Kay-Bee stories have Legos on clearance? If so maybe we can work out a system where you can pick up some for me and I will pay you back...I cannot always get out to the stores sometimes...

You're welcome Mary. I don't blame you for not wanting to get more obsessed...life is so much easier when you don't want to collect anything and everything that has Star Wars on it, instead only select items here and there. And life is much less poor that way. Sigh.

The Unleashed Chewbacca is really nice too!
