Her name is Cindel Towani, and, according to what I remember from the Black Fleet Crisis, she's now a journalist.

When and how did the Yuuzhan Vong make thier first appearance?

Well, according to Rogue Planet, the inhabitants of that planet have had contact with the Vong, so I think that's the first mention (I haven't read all of the prequel-era comics), but in Crimson Empire II, I think, Nom Anor has a small role, so that would be their first appearance I guess, although no one knows he's a Vong at that point.

Okay, I am starting to think I am unworthy to attend the April 6th meeting! I just recently stumbled on to the EU stuff (and I have no idea where to start!!) and I thought I was good at SW trivia, but I am mistaken. Promise me you guys won't be to hard us who aren't so far along in the Jedi arts. I am a fast and willing learner! And I am not too old to learn the ways of the Force! hehehe.

 

Not a problem. That's the whole point of this group. We will have plenty of time to learn about EU matters. Personally, I am a big EU fan, and I don't think we get enough of it as it is. Absolutely, do not feel unworthy.

heh..everyone starts as an apprentince....hehe...Star Wars like any other largely documented universe is a very vast place....I am constantly finding new things that I did not know before. Some useless some fun... there is always someone out there who knows more than you. Keep that thought in mind and you will go far......ooookaayyyyy enough jedi master sounding hooey for one day eh? hehehe
