I'd take a Star Destroyer, more for the look than anything. When one sees that wedge coming at them, they get afraid. When they see a Mon Cal cruiser, they think that ship has a disease or something. :p

"But if I could have a choice, why not have a Super Star Destroyer! The largest ship in the galaxy!"
I agree, but just imagine trying to parallel park that thing!

    [face_laugh] at E, good one!

I would have mine grow tenticles and smack all of your wedges out of the sky.

I think I would want a really dark blue Star Destroyer. That would be great. ;)

I wouldn't want a Star Destroyer. The insurance alone would kill me!

Besides.... I'd get a Star Fixer! Much more productive!

Why, when I read Dajuan's last post, did I think for a second that she had gender issues? Tenticles indeed...

Nooooooooooooo!! We once had a fast forward-athon at a meeting watching that monstrosity. Meaning we fast forwarded everything but the Wookies, the 'toon, and the Han, Luke, and Leia stuff.

As far as parallel parking a SSD, I don't think it would be that difficult. According to the SWRPG core rulebook a standard Star Destroyer has 60 Turbo laser embankments, 40 Point laser cannons, 60 ion cannons, and 10 tractor beam projectors. If you can't make yourself a whole big enough to parallel park that in with those toys, you are hopeless.

Didn't chime in on the the last, but I gotta go with Star Destroyer.

As for the Holiday Special, two words Bea Arthur!!!

When you mix Star Wars and the Golden Girls...

    pure genius!!!!!!

How that thing got passed up at Emmy time is beyond me.

    [face_laugh] LOL!

I've never seen the SW Holiday special, so I don't think I can comment.

I want it on DVD. SERIOUSLY! (Might have something to do with the fact that I'm old enough to have seen the original broadcast... ;))

Since when do I listen to you Jon? I'd totally take it on DVD just because Lucas hates it so much. That and there were a few funny/entertaining parts.

I watched the original broadcast too. And I remember thinking (before I got a copy of it) after reading all the bashing of it - "come on, it wasn't that bad".

    Yes, It was.

I'm up for another debate. :)

Who got the Vanity Fair issue about Star Wars? Lucas explains his reasoning behind the midichlorians.
