That looks good. I filled in the off white color. Does your graphics program allow you to smooth out the text at the top? There might be a check box that says anti-alaising or something like that in the text properties.

Looks good but the top lightsaber is off angle. It needs to be fixed somehow. You could try building a new one by using parts from the other two.

Also I had the Idea for a background as a death star image merged with a pittsburgh skyline.

i can export it as a pict and convert that to a gif, that should clear up the jagginess.

 

Spiffy, but I like the black and gold color scheme better. More Pittsburghie.

 

looks better but the light sabers need filled in and it would be cool if you could work in a pgh skyline at the top of the triangle.

That?s really a big step in the right direction. The buildings need a bit more detail and you need to work in an image of the point and the fountain below the city. You will need to drop the imperial symbol down a bit and probably dump the top light saber all together.

I only have Adobe Photo Deluxe but if you send me the raw Photoshop file with layers I think I can work with it.

I think we need a deadline for the logo and everything else for the site. The meeting is coming up so we will have time to discuss all of the upcoming changes and how to do them. I would like to make the deadline for upgrading the site to be Christmas. Logo and banner should be done and voted on at meeting and then whoever has access to changing this does it and has it in place by x-mas. What do you think? Can we do this?

I can get a less jagged image by converting a .tif into a .gif. Jpegs suck for lineart.
