SWC Galactic Senate Game

I agree, that's how the last game ended. And I whoever the SC is, I trust that they will prevent the kind of things that were happening in the old game, such as Senators posting pictures of their armies. I am exceptionally pleased with this constitution, however.

 

So today or tomorrow?

 

Please read the constitution; we are on day 1 - nominations. Tomorrow will be day 2 - campaigning.

The nominations today will determine the candidates who will campaign tomorrow.

I don't mind others posting the current nomination numbers; but don't hesitate to count them yourself either as there can be confusion. I will post the official numbers later this evening.

 

Campaigning begins at midnight tonight, board time, I believe.

Well, I can't say I'm not suprised though. All three of the senators with 3 nominations are very popular and influential.

So let me get this straight, the Chancellor's term lasts 26 to 27 days if he doesn't get impeached

 

The Supreme Chancellor's term actually lasts the entire month; however the last four days of his/her/its term is taken up with elections and presided over by the Vice Chancellor - so what you are saying is true...from a certain point of view!

August is a special case since we were late in starting...
December will also be a special case since we won't need to elect a new chancellor that month (we are closing this thread for the month of January for rest and to allow interested parties to fix the constitution if it seems like it requires fixing).

Make sure you disolve your Imperial faction, I disolved my Rebel one. We don't want parties and factions screwing up the Senate. I have to leave now.
