SWC SWC Jedi Draft/Starfighter Draft plans! This Is Happening!

    Yeah the thing about Jedi & Starfighter Drafts at this point is many of the matches are obvious (or been done before) that it can be an uphill battle to argue a good half of your matches or more. Something completely new means kinda everyone can be beat, somehow.

    Making silly (or even rational!) arguments has always been the lifeblood of the draft-- that and they basically served as the Arena forum before that became an actual thing lol

    Captain Atom over Spawn doesn't happen in a mature draft. Only in a new(ish) one.

    Unless someone else really wants to, I'll commish the Muggles draft (and give everyone else a chance to win [face_mischief]).

    Planning to use the list I posted a few pages ago with some minor updates (porgs!); comments/concerns welcome.

    When sounds good to post sign-ups? Next Friday (Feb 23) is what I was thinking- Jedi Draft should be wrapping up around then and a bunch of the losers former participants will have gotten bored by then :p

    So the Jedi Draft has ended and we're nearing the end of the drafting phase of the inaugural Muggle Draft. When would people want to see the next Starfighter Draft? I'm thinking when we start the playoff phase of the Muggle Draft unless people want it sooner. My reasoning is with 3 dedicated drafts we will have to have some overlap to prevent a year-plus gap between some drafts.

    We could always take a little break from the regularly scheduled drafts and go with the bizarro draft that focuses on losing to win.

    I think it would work well with either draft, and make for a fun alternative while we wait for the new Canon to give us the good stuff.
