    I appreciate the gesture Senator. And I agree these recent events are very troubling, as they ought to be for us all.
    And I will most certainly avoid verbalizing any suspicions I might have until such time as evidence presents itself.

    But until that time I concur it is essential we establish a security force dedicated to protecting the members of the august body at all times, at very least until this threat has passed.

    Perhaps the reestablishment of the Senate Commandos used in the old republic for security? They ought to be efficient I would presume.

    Any security forces that investigates must not have a connection or loyalty to any political party or Senator.

    Indeed I concur with you assessment that a neutral security team is necessary Senator Bazinga'd.
    The Senate Commando's I am referring to would be nonpartisan, and Senate controlled so they would report to us all, not one party, or one senator.

    And by the way, by the very fact I was able to bring in a mock thermal grenade into the chambers, somebody probably should install weapons detectors at the enterences.

    I'm inclined to depend on my own security. The senate security has a large number of beings to protect, so I depend on my own from my home world.

    And in a case like this, where it seems a good number of the senate members are under coordinated attack? Would you concede that a coordinated investigation is necessary?

    Order! Seanators please. Each senator is entitled to their own security measures. The attempt on my life was foiled by my private security team, which I pay handsomely for.

    Senator Lady Belligerent can handle her security as she sees fit. M'lady, the blaster you carry, there is no need for it here.
