    The amount of methane that is emitted from each sarlacc pit creates a health hazard and creates damage to the atmosphere.

    I can see that they could possibly be a threat, there is still the question of whether or not the species is native to Tatooine and if they are truly a threat. In order to move forward, I would like more information first.

    Ask Senator Bardan_Jusik what happened to the famed bounty hunter Boba Fett, and then tell me if that species constitutes a threat. For the record it is a species native to Tatooine.

    Senator, really. This native species may be a nusiance, but to ask us to exterminate it? That's going a bit far. What if your... your, uh, Krayt Dragon were to get overpopulated next? Or if someone from my world went to Endor and was attacked by a Condor Dragon? Should we exterminate them next?

    But, really, shouldn't we allow our new Chancellor to assemble her Cabinet before we talk about ecological diversity and balance with her?

    One thing I have noticed in my short time in the Senate, is that if one does not speak out loud and immediately, few things get done. We do cull Krayt Dragon to prevent overpopulation, so the analogy is well.........fail.

    I read those agricultural reports about a month ago, roaming Krayt dragons are a threat. However, I am still undecided about Sarlaccs.

    Congratulations to the Chancellor Nehru_Amidala Apologies for my absence senators, howver I will be in and out over the summer months. Does destroying the saarlac pits endanger the planet's ecosystem in terms of wild life?     Senators, as has often been the history of this august body, this body is once again sitting around on its rumpus doing nothing but waste the taxpayer's credits. I demand that this Senate begin to do what we are paid to do. Otherwise, my planet may decide to seceed Senate and join other organizations that may give us the order and control that we desire.
