Are we likely to get any new book announcements from this weekend? I'm not sure when they normally announce these things.

 

I'm in the UK - still had problems.

 

So it looks like the streaming schedule just straight up lied that the animation panel would be streamed live.

 

Looks like they had an opportunity to interview GL, Harrison Ford, and KK instead. The Filoni panel is beginning on the stream right now on a delay.

 

Kablob, well, the 40th panel started 15 minutes late streaming, so....

 

I'm looking forward to getting home this evening to watch these interviews and the DV panel!

 

Strongly, strongly hinted the Ahsoka question will be resolved in S4.
Unfinished TCW clip of Cad Bane and Boba Fett. The livestream didn't carry the art or visuals of the clip, but Andi has said on Twitter they will be working to make sure an archived version includes the intended visuals.

 

Oh, I'm sure the artwork will show up online very soon.

 

Besides Ahsoka, was there any thing new and/or cool revealed?

 

I think there was artwork of Rex in camouflage, hinting at that chap from ROTJ....

The 40th anniversary panel was a lot of fun, and loved the musical tribute for Carrie, definitely shed a few tears.

Watching the Ian McDiarmid panel now. He's doing the Emperor's laugh, pretty great.

lol, the Emperor is still bitter about losing to a bunch of Ewoks.

 

...Ok, wow, I am really curious what the heck happened in this storyline.

Cad Bane dies.

 

So, at the climax of the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon ordered his Imperial Guard to attack the center of the British line. Even at the time, it was obvious this was THE critical moment of the battle, the culmination of Napoleon's entire 100 Days campaign (and thus his entire career), and over a century of off-and-mostly on warfare with the British. One of Napoleon's brothers, serving on the field, was shocked not to see Napoleon leading the charge himself. He said something to the effect of "if he is looking for a good death, he will find no better one than at the head of this attack." There was a self-evident rightness in the moment, and Napoleon had chosen to do exactly not that.

That's how I feel about touching Ahsoka again. How they left her was perfect. Bringing the character back as anything other than a Force vision/ghost/whatever will be a grave mistake.
