Natick isn't even an hour from Boston.If nyack = NYC its like 3 hours from Boston,give or take a half hour for traffic and speed limits

 

I live RIGHT next to Natick. Like 15 min. from it. I could walk there if I had enough Gatorade.

 

According to the TFN IMAX database, we may have to go to NY to see the movie in IMAX format. see list

 

Thats not a complete list tho.Just keep making call if ya have been.we must see this!!

 

I can't say I'm surprised that the Omni won't have it. I'd imagine they'd have to do something more to it for the dome screen. I went to an IMAX in Colorado and it was just a really frickin huge regular shaped screen. I'm guessing the majority of them are like that.
Oh well, maybe the bootleg will show up on the Net. LOL

 

I jusy checked out TFN's list for who is showing it and who is not.

All I can say is that list is not entirely accurate

 

I need AOTC at the IMAX! Just tell them that...

i've also got a coupon for 1 free lg popcorn and 1 free lg soda at the IMAX

PS tickets are the same as a regular movie - $9 after 5 or 6ish. i think the matinees are $6 but..well...i'm sure it's on the site. i think it's imax.com/providence

 

well, it was a total of $12 ($11 for ticket and $1 fee for getting it on the website)...but I am going to the 11:30 PM show on the 1st....

also, I emailed the theater director at the Jordans IMAX and this is the response I got (names changed to protect the not so innocent):

I think either the 7pm or the 9:15 pm showing on the 1st would be cool.Its on a friday so the later the better so people have time to get out of work and stuff.

But before you order tix,we need a headcount.dont want ya buying to many tix and then noone shows.

I just received an email from the lady at the Aquarium IMax They will be having the Movie

Roy-

We have committed to showing Star Wars: Attack of the Clones at the Simons IMAX Theatre at the New England Aquarium.

The opening day will be November 1st.

The showtimes are as follows:

Sun, Mon, Tues, Thur: 6:30p and 8:45p
Wed-8:45p
Fri-Sat-5:30p, 7:45p, and 10p

Adult ticket price-$11
Child/senior ticket price-$9

The film will show from November 1st through January 31st. There are some days it will not show. You will want to tell your members to check the website and phone line prior to coming to the Aquarium.

Ok I just got another email from the lady running the Imax program,i told her before that if she needs our help for anything opening to let me know, Guess what?

We would LOVE to have you onsite promoting our film on the opening, November 1st. We will have a showings at 5:30, 7:45, and 10:00pm. We may also do a midnight showing on Halloween and perhaps one at 9pm. Would you be able to help?

I'm thinking costumes people!!! who's up for it???
