NYC, NY SWNYC Icon

Can anyone create an Icon for SWNYC members to use? It can be a small version of our logo or something new and creative. LadySith and I will approve it and then submit it to Fanforce Staff to upload.

I've had a burst of inspiration... I'll come up with something in a few hours...

 

It is not exactly a contest. No time limit on this.

I've had another idea based on our recent discussion, and will have another one for you this weekend. Personally, I like the one I sent in better; maybe that could be used as a NYC Patriotism icon, like an alternative...

I have no ideas! I need a little help. I mean I could do the classic Twin Towers (intect) but I don't think would go as a FanForce icon.

OK, I'll send it on over to you, Night. I have a website but like an idiot I don't have any of the software installed to upload to it since my last computer wipe. So if you wouldn't mind posting someplace that would be great.

I used the name Star Wars NYC Alliance. Is that the official name of the group or is it just Star Wars NYC? I can change it if it ends up being considered as an option.

 

Star Wars NYC is what we go by. The Alliance includes the other groups we are associated with.

Night, cool, but Boushh already sent is one that is almost exactly the same.

Yeah, it's similar. I got rid of the "Alliance" for the one I sent to MysterySith. Which makes the type a bit bigger so that's always good.

Oh and btw guys, I'm a girl. Just thought it would be wrong to let you guys keep thinking that I'm a guy.

I think most of us, at least us guys usually assume someone is male if we cannot tell from a name such as LadySith.

Though Boushh is female, I think it is a name that can apply to both male and females

 

LOL. Don't worry, MysterySith. It totally is a name that can be taken both ways. I tried to take a bit of the Princess Leia theme further by adding the 2187 but at first glance boushh could totally mean the bounty hunter and not Leia. But I figured I'd set you guys straight now instead of months later.

I got rushed off earlier but I wanted to say that I liked Night's icon. I like the Statue of Liberty and the urban looking font.

I should of got the hint from the Icon you use. Most males would not have that.

Yeah, I lose the admin thing, but I still have my sith colors, which I think I should change as well.

Now to figure out a good combo.

 

Ooooh very nice. I had that icon before the one I have now. I rotate Han and Leia icons. I'm a nut, I know. Anyway, I like the new colors too! You have to let me know if you get any comments!

 

The Icon and colors will take some time to get used to. I have had those same colors or a variation of them ever since I started on these boards.

I did think about the Anakin and Padme kissing, but as of now I like Han and Leia much more.

I wonder how long I will keep these.
