FF:NZ SWNZ Giveaway

There is currently a light up darth Maul and B'omarr Monk up for grabs on SWNZ.

All you have to do is e-mail in photos of your collection, and a winner will be drawn randomly from those who send a submission.
your images will then be posted and archived on the SWNZ site, and your collection will be profiled (you'll have to write a little about you and what you collect). Be in quick, the prize will be drawn at the end of this month.

I already had a loose ephant mon with no assecories so I wanted a MIP one....

 

The next competition will again have a random drawing for the prize, and entry will be via a simple survey (designed to optimise the 'customer/audience focus' of the SWNZ website).

Rumour is that the prize will include a MOC Mr E. Mon figure.

Details will be confirmed and posted on SWNZ soon.

I'm quite tempted to enter I've always wanted a B'Omarr Monk.

 

Despite years of Star Wars geekdom, I don't know what a Bo'marr Monk is. How long were they on screen?

 

I think it's one of those spider-like things you see in ROTJ, that or they're the brains living inside them...? I'm not sure.

 

Bomarr monks were the origanal inhabitants of jabbas palace they got shved down to the lower levels when jabba took over. They do some meditation where they no longer need there bodys so they remove the brain and stick it in a jar and put it on a shelf. when the brain decides to go for a walk it summons a spider driod and that takes it out.

Bomarr monk figure is great could use a few more paint apps thought

 

From memory I think it follows threepio after they are let into jabbas palace in RoTJ, its on screen for a very short time

 

ok, brains in jars travelling around on top of spiders? This isn't Kevin J Anderson's doing, by any chance?
