For me the problem with the Post NJO books is I don't see how everything will be wrapped up nice and tidy so the Big 3 can ride off into the Sunset in peace.

Which is why a group of Sith shouldn't have been re-introduced, in theory. They cannot be stopped as a diffuse Order. Ruusan was a once-in-a-franchise moment...

This isn't Star Peace! We needed a succession of backbreaking galactic wars! Three wasn't enough!

I completely get what you mean with this statement. For a lot of fans there's been a desire to see the big three step away and the younger generation finally become the true leads of their own series and that's what this series means to me. It's a chance to see someone else shine, to see characters accomplishing things without the direct support of the older generation. I hope this series still comes out since it's something I've been waiting for since the end of TUF and if it's suddenly dropped now it'll feel something like running a marathon, approaching the finishing line and the organizers removing the goal post.

We might find out tomorrow from SDCC what the plan is. If not, the next Convention whenever that is.

The comparison to a poorly thought out Dark Knight is pretty good. I don't mind darkness, but at least have it well done if it must be in there, and preferably with at least a somewhat uplifting ending (like Dark Knight Rises.)

The NJO should be the last major war before the Legacy comics. Keep things low key until then.

That happened to me once. I got halfway to the 13.1 mile marker turn around, there were people cheering but no turn around marker, they said "turn around it's unofficial". I contemplated giving up the whole second half, but ran it out anyway. I had trained what else could I do. Turned out the race organizer sold more spots than he had a permit for and the park ranger took down the clocks and timing mats.

As someone who pretty much grew up with Jaina, been reading her since I was in college and she was in the YJK I just don't know anymore. Am I more worried Golden would destroy her or the ST will make her no more?

No, it was actually pretty all right. Jaina was toeing the dark side, Kyp didn't like it. Jaina drew her 'saber. Kyp drew his. They fought.

I bet Ashley Eckstein is feeling all sorts of foolish now. [face_mischief]

But seriously, I'm all sorts of depressed that there was zero news on this from SDCC.

The shirts sold out at Comic con, so she'll probably make more mony from SOTJ then Christie Golden, her agent, and Del Rey
