Hi, I've just discovered this Fan Art section on theforce.net forums. So I thought it may be the best place to post some of my artworks. I do not do much fanart of the Star Wars saga, but some of my drawings are inspired from the main saga. I do a lot of manga-style drawings, and all is done in the "traditionnal way". I'm not to eager yet to learn how to use graphic tablets and to draw on computers... I've recently done a fanart of Ahsoka Tano which I've published on my official facebook page under my other pseudonym (my artist name) "Gadeli". You can check my official page here: https://www.facebook.com/gadeliofficial/? And my fanart of Ahsoka here:
Welcome to the Art forum! That's a really nice piece you've done of Ahsoka. You are welcome to post some of your non-Star Wars works here too. Looking forward to seeing more
Thanks Corellian_Outrider ! I thought this section was just for art related to Star Wars. I will also post my other artwork as well!
I will post other artworks I've done previously here. These are non-Star Wars fanart, and are mainly drawings of worlds and characters that I've imagined, but are inspired of the Star Wars saga as well as many other anime and manga: Evolution of the drawing above, from pencil, to inking until coloring:
Thanks PoorRebel. For this drawing, I've used multiple and different mediums: watercolor, color pencils and alcohol based marquers as well as drawing gum when there were parts I didn't want to do with watercolor.
The mixture of those techniques looks just amazing - I would love to see a step by step "Artwork in progress" series one day to see how art like that evolves from start to finish...
The latest one I've while trying once again a new technique with watercolor and watercolor pencils: https://www.facebook.com/gadeliofficial/
Here are other of my recent drawings originally published on my official facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gadeliofficial/ The difference between 2014 and 2017: Before adding the colors, I've done the inking with a sepia marker: After adding the colors:
My latest artwork, as published on my official facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gadeliofficial/ And a little GIF exposing the evolution of its making: And the difference in my drawing style between last november and this april:
For "Star Wars day" I've made this drawing of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the manga style. I've been inspired by the style used by Hisao Tamaki, who made the first manga adaptation in manga of the original movie (Episode IV) in 1997. Happy May the 4th!
