Fanclub Syal and Myri Fan Club: "You must be so proud."

There wasn't a whole lot of Syal in LotF either. I hardly remember much of what she did. I am liking Myri in Mercy Kill though.

She ended up shooting at both her father and Luke Skywalker.

 

I had forgotten all that. Talk about playing with fire. Good thing she's family.

After Mercy Kill, I had to go with Myri. I do like them both though.

 

It is hard to pick one over the other. I want Syal to become a Rogue!

She got promoted for shooting at Luke, which made her sick because he's one of her heroes.

 

I want more of both of them.

One of the biggest heroes the galaxy has ever seen, the Jedi Grand Master and a close friend of her father. No surprise she was sick.

 

Yeah. Poor girl. They definitely need to tell us more, and she totally needs to join Rogue Squadron at some point. I can see her having troubles with the military after flying with the Rakehells and shooting down a Rogue, though.

 

Sounds like she's kind of a Wraith too.

My own personal head-canon/plot bunny has Syal being with an actor (not Turman, though). He could help out the Wraiths too!

 

They could be Stage Boy and ..... Drama Boy?

Want to put Ben Skywalker in the mix, too - he's got the perfect crosstraining for it, I think, with his GAG/police training.

 

After reading Betrayal again, I definitely think there needs to be a book about Syal. More than one, actually. I wouldn't mind a whole new X-Wing series with her in Rogue Squadron. I loved her nervous leg-bouncing habit. Again: Syal books. Now. Please, Allston? Please?

I want to see the Antilles Girls together. I want to see them totally kick butt as a team. So much want.

Umm... planning. And outlining. And no way do I want to mess it up. But I've got some ideas. Of course, any ideas you guys have would be welcome...

 

Just put plenty of the Antilles sisters in it along with the hi-jinks of the Rogues and Wraiths and it will be a success. Trust me.

On an unrelated note... Can the people writing fan fic at least spell the characters' names right? Is that too much to ask?

 

Some of them are a little tricky to spell, but all they have to do is research and make sure how to do it. So no, it's not too much to ask. That is a little annoying.

 

I'm reading Harry Potter fan fic right now, and the name they misspell is Lily, as Lilly. I know it's relatively minor, but it drags me out every time, and the story is utterly brilliant otherwise. It's a peeve, I guess.
