It's time again for your dose of Skyforce shinanigans. Games, talks, dealers, auction and more! And to celebrate Star Wars' 30th birthday, we're taking a look back at where we've been and what's to come in the Star Wars universe.

We'll have our usual lot of raffles and contests, this time kicking it up a notch with an Episode IV - A New Hope costume competition. Dress up for your chance to win a prize!

About time there was one on a day I'm not working, at the moment anyway!

I shall definetly make an effort to get to this one, be nice to see some of the faces I haven't seen since EPIII at Fox.

Rest assured, kids, Skyforce is on Sunday. I believe Friends Of Sci-Fi had a date change and they'll also be on the same day at the same venue, which is a bonus for all because that means you only need to pay entry to one event & get access to both!

Sooo, How was it?

 

was all round awesome, more families, 30th anniversary discussions, history of star wars video games,

top stuff, random appearance by keylehr,

200 items in the auction, went for one hour

 

Massive auction, as Tek mentioned. And being the 30th anniversary we had stacks to show & talk about, plus a couple of excellent unexpected suprises (a special guest droid, storyboard artwork from "300" in the auction, and loads of kids & grown-ups in costume).

Well, I was actually in my car on the way when I got a phone call ..... needless to say I never made it, I ended up having to go to work!

 

You need to find a new job MM!

 

Nah, not leaving know I've got 10 years service, they have to make me redundant!

Besides we're training a couple of newbies so it should ease the extra shifts in a month or so.

I actually went for once, ditched baseball and all It was great to see the Paul's!

For me it was just great to get away from work for a few hours and relax a little

I really need to make an effort to get out to stuff more often...
