When Padme' comforts Anakin after the 'confession scene' (interesting lable for it I might add) She acts as both his confessor and his 'salvation' in a sense... (true Catholics forgive me, I'm going on my pagan assumptions here) That Mary is able to facilitate forgiveness as well as Jesus?

(Christian Mythos isn't my strong point... sorry)
