I traded all my crap today an got a gamecube, mario sunshine an a memory card for $187.00

I started playing Jedi Starfighter on Ps2 again, i completely forgot how damn easy Dog fighting is, I may have to dig out my copy of Xwing Vs. Tie fighter for some serious dog fighting challenge.
Beach Spikers on GC is great if you are into some serious fierce 2 on 2 female action.

I think we should have a gaming weekend, since drew has a cube now, and slavey will get one soon, we should dedicate a weekend (preferably a long weekend) to multiplayer gaming on consoles, i can supply either xbox or PS2, and we can waste the weekend playing all the great games like Hunter: the reckoning, supersmash brothers melee, monkey ball, halo etc etc

(Starfox Adventures! Metroid Prime! Zelda GC! The Sonic Mega Pack!!!)

So many cool games...

However with Starfox adventures GC owners are seeing Rare's last Nintendo title. Rare are now fully owned by Microsoft and have stopped all wotk on fuure games for the GC - including Perfect Dark Zero, which will become an Xbox exclusive.

Now I'm not exactly going to loose sleep over this - and whilst Perfect Dark was good, it certainly wasn't a GoldenEye killer - GC owners still have TimeSplitters2 to look forward to, which looks excellent (and is being hailed as *the* GoldenEye killer).

Anyway, I'd just like to take this opportunity to say Microsoft sucks! Relying on their ability to buy out a games company rather than actually produce anything of substance themselves.

 

GC will still get Donkey Kong though it was rare develped but always nintendo owned yay

besides i never liked perfect dark anyway

that reminds me of the battletech games from intensity, i want one too, but only if the game is good.

 

It looks like a bit much if you ask me - assuming that those control sticks are the proper size, that's a damn big control panel to have lying around.

 

i don't have room for my consoles as is, whats another controller to add to the clutter i really need a proper tv and gaming console cabinet. i have 2.5 xbox controllers, 5 or 6 ps2 controllers, 1 gc controller, plus my n65 and games, and dvd remotes, but no where to put them safely

 

Dude, that SB "controller" will be 50-60cm wide easily, that about half the size of the coffee table in front of our main TV.

Just look at it. If it is any smaller than my estimate it's going to start getting mega-cramped. It's supposedly got 40+ buttons.

When will Microsoft realise that Bigger doesn't always equal Better? What the heck kind of game requires 40+ buttons? PC Sim games don't even uses 40 keys on your keyboard...

This game gets crazier the more I think about it. At least the mech designs are half-way to original.

 

i now have a hankering for battletech at intensity, i used to own on that game. maybe an outing to hurstville next year as a meet could be in order.

Maybe the FF games don't hold as much fascination for others, but I'm freakin excited.

I really like the cut scenes on GC's Clone Wars. Some of the bosses so far a little easy, i did however have trouble with one boss.
