System Wars (Which system is the best/your favorite?)

Excuse me if this has been done before, I checked the first five pages and couldn't find anything.





This is essentially somewhat of a 'debate' topic to argue over which gaming platform (GCN, PC, PS2, XBOX) is the best.





IMO, it all depends on what you're into. I personally am not big on adventure games, but I love action games and online play. While the Gamecube is very adventure heavy, it somewhat lacks in the shooter department, while PS2 excels. Thus, PS2 is my personal choice. As for online play, I use PC quite often also.





EDIT: I would like to add, that the poll is just a little extra. Don't mistake this for a poll with a thread added; it's more of a thread with a poll added.

 

Pc obviously wins hands down. Shouldn't this question be "which console is the best?"? I personally like the Gamecube because Nintendo make quality games, not tons and tons of game. The GC controller is also by far the best.

 

I do really like the Gamecube controller, but it could use some improvement. Perhaps get rid of the Z-Button and add an R2 and an L2? Maybe they could make the sticks work as buttons also...

 

PC all the way.

 

Although I use PC a lot, the capabilities aren't up to par to seamlessly load the newer and better PC games that have been coming out as of late. It'd probably be my favorite, had I a better computer.

So, in place of that, I pick the PS2 as my favorite. Why? Because I love RPGs, and PS2 has and probably will have the best lineup of RPGs to come, along with a couple of interesting FPS, although the other consoles dominate that genre pretty well.

 

What about Legend of Zelda-The Wind Waker- has 2 rate as one of the best games ever. GC also has Metroid Prime. Nuff sed

 

True, but like I said, adventure just isn't my thing.
