OK, here we can discuss t-shirt options...

For starters, there are our old shirts etc at cafepress...I know they're WAY overpriced and the quality sucks, so I agree we need to have someone else (like teton graphics) do them...

Here are the old shirts: http://www.cafepress.com/ifswa/

If anybody comes up with a design idea, we can upload the graphics to cafepress and instantly have a pic of what the shirt would look like...even if we're not going to use them to print it...

I can provide high-res copies of the logo if that is needed...or do we want something else.

The 501st/Alpine Garrison have black t-shirts with white logos/sayings on them...It's simple, classic, and costs less (1 color printing)....just my $.02 worth

yes it would..or Gonk! Maybe we could get that drawing of Gonk that Ryan did!

Just remember, the more colors in the graphic, the more expensive the shirt will be....each color has to be screened seperately...we can always get pricing though, what's it gonna hurt?

I suggest a few different design ideas, some with multicolors and some with just a couple colors or even 1, and vote on favorites and then get pricing on a couple different options

BTW, here's a graphic of a plain black t-shirt outline in case anyone wants to tinker:

Here are a couple quick ideas I came up with:

OK, I added a couple more and put them in a photo gallery (I have no life and can't sleep)...

This link will take you to the gallery of all of them...

If anyone comes up with any designs and wants them uploaded and posted email me...

Those look pretty cool, dude. I like the black and white ones better than the color, though. The whole imperial color scheme, I suppose.

Dude, if we could get shirts with Gonk, that would be very cool and more appropriate, considering, his link to the club...

    Doug,
Nice work, I like the IFSWA w/ logo the best.
How would it look if we had half Imperial and half Rebel logo divided in the middle with a lightening bolt.

That would be cool, or Levi suggested divided by a lightsaber blade....

I'll work on that see what I can do...

Oh another cool thing about shirts: When we meet celebs (like Jeremy Bulloch in Oct) we could give them one...

Okay, here is my idea, if I could draw, i would.

I am thinking about a long sleeved black shirt.

On one sleeve have STAR WARS going up the sleeve.
On the other have ALLIANCE going down.
On the back, have our little symbol thing with Idaho Falls written under it.

Or in white with everything in black.

Might be hot for now, but good for winter. It could be worn under shirts, and people would wonder what the sleeves ment. I like to keep people thinking.

    Doug,

    Why just Black Shirts?
    Maybe, "Darker Blue with Silver?"
I just thought that, the "Fett Costume," done in those colors was really cool!

Besides the Group from Utah is Black and White.
Is that like the "Official Color," or can "One do their own thing!

If we are ever all together again, if everyone is in the same "Color," one group will just "Blend in with all the other Groups!" Wouldn't we like to "Stand out a little?

The "Up and Coming," Mon Mothman

Seeing as how, as far as costuming goes, we ARE part of the Alpine Garrison region, we would want to match....

Both Rebel Legion and 501st shirts are black...those are the INTERNATIONAL Star Wars costuming clubs....

As for fanforce/ifswa shirts, anything goes...but why have 2 different shirts for everyone to have to buy?

I think white on black is definitely the way to go. It's crisp, clean, and (dare I say) more organized-looking. Besides, if we really wanted to stand out, I'd vote for hot pink.

I vote for hot pink too, in a size smaller than we should all wear. Heck, maybe just baby-t's. we would be so cute, and everyone would think we were special.

I would pay big money to see you in a hot pink shirt adam.
