Ta'a Chume vs Dune's Reverend Mother Elena Mohima

Does anyone else see the similarities?? I know that I do.

Ya, sdorry, i got the name wrong.

 

I think the similarities end on the surface. Mohiam is much better at scheming and manipulation than Ta Chume ever was or will be. The Reverend Mother is also a much better character, as well.

Ta'a Chume is strong-minded enough to resist a Jedi mind trick. The Voice, on the other hand...no. Mohaim will pick her teeth with the Hapan Queen Mother.

 

Gaius Helen Mohaim would have Ta'a Chume quaking in her boots. SUre they're similar, but Reverend Mother Mohaim is just so much better at being manipulative.
