Table at the Con!!

Ok I know I said I'd do it yesterday,but I forgot .I just called the people who run the con and got their voicemail thingie (I hate VoiceMail ),and since their is no way in hell I am calling Toronto I left a message for em to call me back.As soon as I hear back from them I will post the info in here.

I sent an email to em' this time.I'm gonna give em' til Monday,if I dont hear anything by then,then I will call Toronto.

 

We had better not lose this opportunity to spread the word of FanForce and the Rebels...

 

I'm gonna do my best to get the table.If worse comes to worse and there are no tables left(lets hope that aint the case),I'll put in a reservation for next years.

If we do get this table, what do we do with it?

 

Make up some fliers and give out info on us. Spread the word and all that.

 

I'm willing to put some money towards it. And I'll man the table for as long as the con is.

 

Ok I just got an email from the dude running the Con.Basically in my email to him I told him about our little club.how we all went to last years Con,had a good time and thought it would be cool to set up a table at this years.

Here is his response:

Greetings. Maybe we could work out a trade of some kind. How big is your club? How many members? Do you have a web site? Newsletter? Are you going to United Fan Con in Springfield? I am interested in advertising and promotion potential. Give me some details on your size and activities and maybe we can give you a table for free. Thanks.

I havent wrote him back yet,so I'm not sure if he just wants a link on our website to his or help at that other Con to promote SFX2002.I'm not even sure when that other Con in Springfeild is.I'll ask him about it when I respond to him.

well according to those that signed up on Will's contact list,We have 26 members (only about a handful of us are actually active in the group tho ).But this gives us a chance to change all that.

 

This is looking good. Perhaps our group will become well known.

 

If you guys need help will flyers or anything don't hesitate to ask. We have a lot of stuff from C2 that could be helpful for you guys.

 

Thats what I'm hoping for.We've been to quiet as a FanForce,Its about time we made ourselves known!!

Rox, thanks for the offer. WE can concentrate on the Rebels end of it, and not worry about the general FanForce aspects if we have some fliers and such ready to go.

 

That's basically what I was talking about. If you need help on how to word them and such. When is this con by the way?
