Table at the Con!!

How would we go about getting this banner?

I was thinking of something like that for the table but didnt know there was one we could borrow.

well carrie if you get an idea,I'd be happy to help ya out.Show it to me and we can bounce ideas back and forth til we like what we see.

It'll be easier for me to do B&W. I come in around 6:30 and the color copier is unwatched until about 7, so I could do some color ones. we could put those prominently on the table to grab attention.
Let me know how many and which ones I'm to print. (and let's not go tooo crazy with the quantity) But then, it is a few months off. Maybe we should set a deadline for flyer design submission?

 

Anything you can print out would be great. B&W would be okay. As many color flyers as you could print out would be great.

How about we have the deadline of October 19th(as in the October meet)?

 

That sounds like a good deadline. Far enough in advance of the meet to get things finalized, yet far enough in the future to ensure things get done.

The 19th of Oct sounds good,it gives us time to choose which flyer and still have time to print em' up.

ok here is whats going on:

there is a Con this Nov at the Bayside Expo Center,Its an Comic/Sci-fi Con

We will have a table at the Con to promote the group and to try to recrute new members.Probably sometime in October i will be getting the posters for the con to help them promote it thruout NE.It is our job to hang these posters at any establishment that people who would visit the con may go to,Comic shops,video stores,toy stores,etc,etc,etc
We will also need volunteers to man the table,probably in shifts.
we also are making flyers for the con to help us promote the group and FanForce.If anyone has an idea or layout they would like to see used.Please submit it on the MSN group,there is a photo folder set up to submit your flyer.

I like having stuff summed up. Any word on which SW guests will be there.

 

Whch day of the Convention do you plan to hold the booth there? I would like to visit it perhaps.

Has there been any suggeestions at to what sort of visuals you will have, handouts, (other than the flyers) and other things?

Maybe someone would be willing to bring in some (*gasp*) opened toy vehicles/figures to put on the table to grab attention?

 

We will have it there all days of the con but the meet is on that Saturday.
